it's easy to say "the TT/KVH trade" was lopsided at this point, but the bottom line is TT is going through a slump, and fits this team better when in game form. keith is a better rebounder, keith is having a better year 'so far'. can't argue w/that, but it's only a matter of time till' TT shoots his way out.

damn i'm getting tired of these TT/KVH comparisons, but all you guys know it's in the back of your minds. he also seems to be shooting a little better as of late.

Someone at MSGNetwork was commenting on how GREAT a player you'd have if you could combine JYD and TT. Take TT's body and athleticism and JYD's amazing heart, intensity, and energy. I would love that!

That would be a sight to see, but with our luck, we would get a player with JYD's shooting, and TT's defense and intensity.

The one thing that hurts TT's game is though he is athletic he isn't explosive. He isn't explosive enough to beat his man off the dribble unless his man is off balance. And he isn't explosive enough play above the rim. If u want to know what I mean by explosive I mean Lebron James. If TT has just a little of that he would be a way better player.

Dude, if I had Lebron's explosiveness I'd be a way better player.

TT will comeon when we need him the most. Right now he is going through some things, and I expect him to do better by mid-season. He had a pretty good game tonight, let's wait and see if he can sustain that performance.

As for Fish, yes, I did call to bench TT because he is hurting our chances when his mind is not in the game. As you know, I am the biggest TT fan on this board. I have asked for him to take a leave of absence to regain his basketball sanity. That is all.

Your predictions of TT's coming greatness have grown tiresome!
Give it a rest already.

TT will have an expiring contract next season unless IT does something crazy like extends his contract. For all the headaches he has given this team,we shouldnt have to put up with them much longer.

Tim Thomas should be be gone by next season. At least we dont have one of those 6 year deals from hell to worry about (knocks on wood)

i don't think IT will extend him. at least that what we gained when layden left. nobody in our team is now assured to be extended.

that's a good thing imo.

I see Nazr getting MLE type money extension for 3 years with current play.

Also, I would do the TT for Big Dog trade. At least you know what you will get from Robinson. He will get you points and a post presence. He kinda reminds me of Adrian Dantley. Plus, his contract expires this year.

TT for big dog would be a b.s trade. I am confident that TT will be a valuable piece of the puzzle after a few games. As you all should know by now, TT had to go through a lot of B.S., and I am surprized that he didn't ask for some time off to get his head right. Big Dog will not fit with Houston and Marb.

That's beyond ridiculous. Good shooters can fit into any system & with any players. If you have 2 penetrators like Marbury & Crawford on the team, having shooters like Houston & Glen Rob is a GOOD thing.

TT is proving to me why he is a career 43% shooter. All he does is take perimeter shots and he's far from being consistent shooter. If he drive the ball more he would be shooting closer to 50%. If he was able to shoot like KVH then it would be okay for him to hang around the perimeter but he can't so they need to force him to drive more.

I agree. Big Dog should fit in nicely with the penetrating ways of Starbury.

TT needs to find his cojones. Also, when exactly can we start stripping TT of the word potential?

right, he doesn't have to become like Kevin Garnett but he can still improve. But to think he can because a great player is silly after all these years.

FORGET about potential. He is what he is. And the best he
has shown is a 15/4 guy, with a mediocre, or worse, FG%.
Accept what he gives, or not. But don't wait for more.

I want TT traded for Big Dog. I hope it gets so bad with Philly that they are forced to take on TT contract. At least Big Dog has a HUGE expriring contract.

TT is going to average 22/7 in the next five games, and you all will want to keep him.
