To upload, edit, and share images using Google Drive, follow these steps:

Upload Images:

Sign in to your Google account and go to Google Drive.
Click on the "New" button and select "File upload" to upload your image file(s) from your computer.

Edit Images:

most people upload them on imageshack: https://imageshack.com/ and just link it from there... or they may link it from their own photo album accounts

Note that you can select your image url, then hit the “Image” button. That will surround it with the img tags.
