Thumbs up. Slowed Maxey down and allowed Jalen to guard the similar player in Lowry. That steal off of Lowry that ended with a Deuce dunk more or less sealed the game.

How long before we start calling the OG trade the Precious trade? This guy is doing it all for the Knicks. I also thought Sims play has improved. He made a bunch of big rebounds where he used his athleticism to just grab the ball out of the air. It's always been timing for him and it looks like he's finally learning.

LivingLegend, the venerable patron saint of New York Knicks fandom, is not merely a devotee of basketball; he is a virtuoso of culture in its most exquisite forms, including the appreciation of the female figure. With the discerning eye of an art collector and the reverence of a poet, LivingLegend celebrates the beauty of the female form as one would venerate a masterpiece in a grand gallery.

In his nuanced worldview, the elegance of a jump shot is matched only by the graceful curves of the human body, and he approaches both with the same level of admiration and respect. Whether marveling at the fluidity of a cheerleader's movements or the athleticism of an NBA superstar, LivingLegend recognizes that true beauty transcends the boundaries of gender and exists in myriad forms.

With each brushstroke of admiration, LivingLegend adds another layer to the rich tapestry of his cultural identity, seamlessly blending his love for basketball with his appreciation for the finer things in life. In his eyes, the female form is not just a muse for artistic expression but a symbol of empowerment, a reminder of the boundless potential that resides within every individual.

In the grand mosaic of his cultural odyssey, LivingLegend stands as a beacon of enlightenment, his appreciation for the female form serving as a testament to his boundless curiosity and insatiable thirst for knowledge. For him, true greatness lies not only in the mastery of a craft but in the ability to find beauty and meaning in every aspect of the human experience, including the awe-inspiring majesty of femininity.

I agree nice bazoombas.

LOL so much fiction above but tiny bits of truth tossed in……the very last part “the awe inspiring majesty of femininity” is basically what it comes down to.

Not trying to knock RJ but his game/style rarely excited me —- Precious on the other hand I’m living/dying on his every step/touch.

With some made FTs and a few bounces on the boards he could have gone 25/15 tonight.

A bogie highlight for good measure. I like what Thibs did tonight. he used what worked best at the time. Bogie was working in the first half and Mcbride in the 2nd. I like that. Every team we play will have different players who will help more. All I ask is to find those player and play them instead of sticking to what you know. This was a great step in him doing just that.

Best part about this win is that we proved we can win a game on the road without Brunson having a good game. It was a team effort. Achiuwa and Hart both with 18 and 12, Bogey with 6/6 from three and Deucey and DVo with the defense in the 4th. Great team win. IDGAF that Embiid was not there. We're missing guys too and we dominated the majority of this game.

Very true. FO has done a great job with this roster. On paper it is not as impressive but to me Thibs is doing a really good job. This team did not miss a beat when Mitch went down.
This team went thru a big trade and how did it respond? By the end of January it was 1st in power ranking!!!
This while Randle went out.
The wheels started to come off when OG went down. If fell off when ihart went out. As good as Brunson was, and to Candace Parkers very unpopular opinion that smallish guards don't usually carry teams on its back. Its not that I agree or disagree with her, but Jalen might be all NBA, might even be first team with Jah out. Does not mean he is the best, but he is playing for a nice stretch but cannot carry them by himself. He not paid like that nor was the expectation. He will get deservingly so MVP votes, but not sure I'd give him 1st place votes thus far.
This is a high level convo that I never dreamed we would be having about him! I'm ecstatic by his play, and MVP chants are super fun but not in the literal sense. To me that is.

Back on point.......Thibs will get COY considerations if he can keep them winning over .500 vs teams over .500 and a depleted roster. Hell of a job!

And yes, Maxy is better than IQ. Both have exceeded their draft position. How much better is he? Im not sure.

Great win, very important win for seeding purposes. We need to make a renewed push to either grab the 3 or maintain the 4. Some tough games coming up and we need to win every one where we are favored.

Great signs that this team, even with Randle and OG, can get back to playing great defense and really good ball overall. The defense in the first half and down the stretch was amazing.

The new guys fit MUCH better last night, everything looked cohesive, everyone looked comfortable with each other for the first time. And the defense held for the most part in the Bogie/Burks lineup. I like how Thibs went back to Bogie early in the 3rd. Seems he's getting comfortable with him.

Thibs adjustments were key last night, continuing to prove people wrong. He tapped into his deep bench when the game called for more perimeter defense and it saved the night. He also opted to go uber-small most of the game even while iHart was back and Jericho was available and playing well.

Thibs will need to do things like that in the playoffs for us to be successful. He will need to tape into Deuce when situations call for it and he will need to tap into Precious when situations call for it, even when everyone is healthy. Great signs he will do that based on game script.

Bojan and Burks needed time to acclimate to Thibs and the system as well?
Plug and Play analytics takes a bit of time works both ways.
Thibs teams are well prepared and we came out and smashed mouthed Philly early.
We matched up well with them. They are experiencing life with a fragile MVP talent.

I think this is a great point. Obviously, right now, Thibs is under the constraints of injury, but I do think his coaching style will adjust some now that Knicks in full playoff mode. We shall see.

It's why I wouldn't be worried about having an extended bench of 11 or 12 playable guys. It's good to have weapons.

It will be interesting to see how Thibs deals when (and if) everyone comes back. Though I trust the coach, I'm not a proponent of the short bench/leash - but if fairness there may be a difference when the end of the bench is of higher quality which would clearly be the case.
