I think the deal for for Bogdanovic/Burks gave the Knicks peace of mind to have surgery - we have a few battle-tested wing options. Without this trade, the Knicks were probably going to nurse this injury w/ rehab 'til after we lifted the 2023-2024 NBA trophy. Now the loose body has been removed, and he has enough time to get back to 100% with time to spare before the playoffs.

I saw a tweet that speculated he would get a minor surgery and be out a few weeks, and listed a few players who recently had same procedure and missed like 3 weeks. Trying to find the damn tweet. Melo had this surgery at one point too.

NGL it's gonna be tough to re-integrate Randle, OG, and Mitch right before playoffs.

Yep, this is the **** I was worried about. The **** that nobody was talking about.
Leon had some mafia Dr. do the surgery in secret?
He did not want trade leverage and we pay a premium? Leon is gangster!
So lets adjust our **** here:
1. Stay out of play in.
2. Get the guys back mid march, Last game is april 14th.
Can't have anymore injuries. But we will.
3. Pray.
4. Count all picks and starphuch our hopes on a star for a trade.
5. Fuck Danny Ainge.
6. Remember Miami is a super evil horror movie dude. Think they dead and they pop up again and again.
7. Don't talk **** about Milwaukee. They owned us.
8. If our hopes to make finals go thru Celtics and we need KP to get injured? He won't.
9. Remember Donovan Mitchell is not a Knick.
10. Maybe Lebron is not such a bad guy?

We can keep pace for the 3-5 seed IMO. Philly is in worse shape than us and MIL has been free falling. I don't think we should fall to 6th. We can scrap with this new rotation.

I mean, that was always the big concern he’s made of glass. He’s still awesome. But some guys can’t stay on the court.

Bojan, Burks should be able to fill in nicely and pick up the slack though. Fresh legs for the playoffs for the front court.

OG makes us next level defensively, but because of the deal, we should withstand Randle and OG absence till early mod March and not fall out of the top 4. The Indiana game is the one we need to win for separation.
