Teams get hot, I get it, but it should have never came to this. JB should have been out sooner, along with other remaining rotation players. 25 minutes for Taj & Flynn, zero for Jacob. An earlier point by a poster was maybe he only plays well against in the g-league. Well, they played a g-league team talent tonight, isn't that the exact time to play him at least 5 mins?

We have moved on from the garbage minutes police to the Play the Gleaguers minutes in an otherwise close game police.

Consider the other possible outcomes.

Knicks are fighting for that 2 seed. The one place you don't want to be is Boston's side of the bracket. As the playoffs continue, an injury here or there to Boston's starting 5 becomes more likely.

Knicks lost vs. the spread and didn't hit the under, but the real world got a big win despite being down to 5 rotation players.

I don't think fighting for 2 seed should be the priority right now. We are basically missing our entire opening night starting lineup now. Get whole and tread enough water to maintain the 3-5 range IMO. We will have to go through Boston one way or another.

The potential matchups in the 3-4 seed aren't really worse than the 2 seed either.
