I like both guys to try out this year. I liked Flynn coming out of college, and Achiuwa provides great front court insurance.

Thinking Precious could be the wildcard in this trade perhaps. Not that he has anything like star potential but there have been a lot of posts here about the backup PF and insurance after Mitch going down. I know little about him other than what you get online but if he turns out to be a "Thibs" player like the Harts then this could be a solid addition.

I think his big bro played for St. John's too.

Born in Nigeria and didn't play hoops until he moved here in the 8th grade.

Hey Alpha - in all seriousness, how do you feel about him taking on the backup PF spot, compared to Tari Eason or anyone else? Don't know much about him other than some stats and stuff, but looks like maybe he could be a decent fit at our backup big need.

I always mentioned Tari Eason or other players ideally who can play more then one positions. He can play Center and PF which is good. Long arms to deflect passes. Don't know much about him on offense. I want the team to have depth with size. Like to see Forunier used to get a SG to start or for a bench scorer if we start DDV. But I would also like to get a back up forward who can shoot so we can go offense and defense with Precious depending on match ups. Doubt we will be trading for Bogdovic now. But maybe Precious shows us something that he didn't do in Canada.

From the little bit I read it seems his thing is more defense than offense, though a decent ball handler, great on the offensive glass, and can hit a mid range shot. It would seem at least he is a bonafide power forward to back up Randle which have not had this season.

At the very least helps the bench. If Grimes can hit his shot and provide top defense then Grimes and DDV can lock up the 2. Then we need 2 things for the team to pick it up. 1) a trade for a center who can be a two way player 2) Deuce to be three and D and help create in his minutes which may be 15 a night. If we get a good center for the bench we will be ok.

I was on the Raptors Reddit and a few commenters gave Flynn the nickname "Meth" Curry.

That's what our backup PG situation is looking like for time being. Can no longer hold it in...time for a Deuce drop. All joking aside, he kind reminds me of Trey Burks... on meth.

Flynn shoots 39% on open 3s, but only 31% on wide open 3s( defender more than 6 feet away). He shoots 44% on 3s after he takes one dribble, but only 35% with 0 dribbles. His percentages don't really get better if he has to dribble more than once. They're atrocious to be honest. He shoots decently on two-point pull ups, though it's a small sample size. Defensively? His stats are bad.

Both are trash but at least we have a big body on the bench in Achiuwa (can't wait to hear how Clyde pronounces his name!) so Hart doesn't have to play back up PF.

Watching Prescious of highlights and well if he can shoot 33 pct from 3 then we will be all right. You know Thibs will have him in the corner. Might as well play him at the 5 and try to get him to shoot from outside. A small ball 5 off the bench or will he start ?
