The Toronto Raptors are finalizing a trade to send OG Anunoby to the New York Knicks for a package including RJ Barrett, Immanuel Quickley and draft considerations, sources tell ESPN.

This is a fleece. I like their team better than ours immediately, OG is the most overrated injury prone player in the league.

Embarrassing they are throwing in draft considerations.

Is Toronto throwing in Siakim or someone else. Utah wanted this exact trade for Donovan Mitchell that we REJECTED.

We also get Precious A and M Flynn back and only Detroit 2nd for drat comp —— good deal here as our D and length significantly upgraded

Would rather have gotten Mitchell and started Hart at the 3. Don’t think OG is a difference maker. Toronto stinks.

I don't get this trade. I don't like this trade.

Knicks were always obsessed with OG. Wow it's bad.

always felt IQ was just as good as OG already if not better.

OG just has more size.

I like this trade. RJ was frustratingly inefficient and we signed him for big money and recouped some of the value by trading him. I think the biggest thing no one is talking about is what our cap looks like for next year.

We should have given up an extra first rounder and kept IQ. The dude comes off the bench shooting 70%+ and also was our best net rating positive player all month. Having IQ rocking off the bench and closing games is the reason we win games.

We gave up way too much for a player who is widely overrated.

Moving post here.

It is going to take me a second to fully think this through but we needed to make a trade. RJ, Randle and Brunson did not fit. It was obvious to those paying attention. Quick is a hard pill to swallow but he was about to get paid much more than the Knicks were willing to spend I guess. We also needed to make some room in the SG SF positions. OG is going to get paid when his contract is up so how much is going to factor into this. OG is a good defender and when your two stars are JB and Randle you need as many good defenders as you can get. I kept saying 3 minus defenders in the starting lineup is not going to work. Now we are down to a more workable 2 bad defenders. Losing Quick is going to hurt our bench so lets hope the other guys we get can help with that.

I would have rather given them 3 firsts for Bridges with RJ and IQ as well. Good contract! The nets could have defended they move.

still thinking but this is much current feeling on this. Now when the trade for a real star comes and Randle is gone we either gain another good defender or trade bad ones so our defense is still good overall. We just need to get Grimes to be more agressive as a starter. Him and OG as defenders are going to be awesome to watch.
