he's averaging just about 20 / 10 / 5 / 1 this season & has played in all 10 games...people were saying he was done, but it looks like he's got plenty left in his tank.

it's too bad we didn't go hard after him in the offseason when SAC might have been more likely to trade him.

The thing to note about him is that he is playing at about 75% of what he used to be and still putting up those numbers. He's good but I wouldn't trade for him. He's over 30 for goodness sakes and has a monster contract.

Defensively he is a problem. An NBA scout was commenting that he looks done, in terms of athletic ability and defense. He is a jump shooter, and positional rebounder now. I wouldn't trade for him, a disaster in the making.. at high salary.

i realize his contract is an albatross...that's what makes me think we could have traded for him if we went hard after him in the offseason...

this would have been a nice starting 5:
C - KT
PF - CWebb
SF - TT or Houston
SG - Crawford
PG - Marbury

To me he's a more efficient Kurt Thomas at this point, he really can't jump or move well because of his knee.

And he's arguably the biggest choker of all-time, I wouldn't want him.

It's easy for a player with a bad knee to look great in the early stages of the season while he has fresh legs.

I dunno man, too many haters on C-Webb - I think he still has some game left and I wouldnt mind him on the Knicks. However he is a King - he fits with that team, although they are going through some tough times now and probably need to start rebuilding.

C-Webb is the man, he will have a good season all the way though. Maybe he will be out from time to time but he is an asset any team could use when he is at full strength. Far from done.

CWebb's probably the best passing bigman in the game, & he works very well in the pick & roll as well...i think he could help this team plenty.

He definitely has some skills that I love, particularly his passing. But he also struggles significantly on defense and I wouldn't bet on his knee holding up for the rest of this season (let alone the remaining 4 years on his contract) since he's already limping while playing.

if its not the knee, something else will give

as for getting him, it truly depends on what we have to give up

I think its safe to say that he will play some more good years in Sac, but if traded to NY will blow out his knee in preseason and seat out the entire lenght of his contract as the Knicks await their savior.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

I prefer to "SEE" Web continue to play for a different team.
