Toronto is now 9-14? Feels like they should be a much better team

It's less too many guards and more style of play. He is like Obi where they play better in offenses with ball and player movement. Plus when he gets to touch the ball more than 3 times a game so he can be in rhythm.

Its too many guards. too many rotation players that deserve big minutes period.

IND is a historic offense with the best passing PG in the NBA, that being said, Obi is scoring the same amount of points per minute he did here.

Obi played 12 minutes in Indy win against Detroit tonight. 6 points, 3 rebounds, no assists or blocks, only Pacer starter without a positive plus/minus. Thibs' fault.

Randle had a good game though!

I think that’s been the case for awhile. Barnes has become pretty overrated in my opinion. Siakam is what he is at this point and Anunoby is good. Otherwise they really lack depth and quality. And outside if Barnes really don’t have a prospect of any sort.

it's ridic, IND is playing him 24mpg and this is with Jalen Smith being out. he's the same player, he doesn't bring enough outside of scoring to play starter minutes.

He's literally scoring the same points per minute he was here in NY even WITH Hali and that historic offense.

meanwhile CAM shooting 40% and averaging 7ppg and people bashing Thibs b/c Lebron tries to hype CAM up.

if anything it goes to show that we should trust THib's judgement on players more than the FO.

The player we need starting is that Bojan guy on Detroit. He will hit open 3's no matter the situation or amount of touches he gets. He could get the starters to mesh better on offense.

Who does he replace? Can't play 6 on 5. Slide RJ to the 2?
How does the defense suffer or improve with this move?
And.....what trade is made to obtain Bojan?

Donte DiVincenzo has averaged 12.0 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 4 games as a starter this season.

I don't think its about starting, DDV showed he could score with the starters. The reality is we are playing alot of guards every night and its going to be impossible for them to all flourish every night.

Grimes has just been much more aggressive the past 2 games, I think it's more about him getting a wakeup call from Thibs benching him.

He hung 29 pts and had one of his better games vs us.
He had an impactful 2nd half which kept them in the game. Im not thinking RJ for him straight up is what we are looking at.
OG won't get much touches if RJ slides to the 2 and OG the three. We get big.
Its compelling, but I agree with Pano's that OG at an inflated price, and he'll want a new contract might not be the best use of assets both for trade and cap use.

OG had a nice game, he also played 37 minutes and took 20 shots, that wouldn't happen here.

Give IQ or RJ 37 minutes and 20 shots and they'll score alot too. OG's numbers have always been a bit inflated due to high minutes and shot attempts.

Randle feeds off Obi's mediocrity?

You know what is doubly wild? Obi is Randle'ing Jarace Walker, the 8th pick by Indy, who is barely getting playing time.

The bench move made so much sense but I didn’t expect to see Quentin knocking down shots at this clip - meanwhile Donte now missing in action (SMH)

It’s difficult to mesh when 1,2 or 3 players are pounding the rock at any given moment but I do like Bogey

I mean its understandable, they drafted Walker at 19 years of age and they are trying to win now, hard for many 19 year olds to break into rotations right from the get, especially on a good team.

Jalen Smith was playing pretty well for them too before he got hurt.

OG is definitely not a shot creator as far as I can tell, but he definitely shoots at a much better clip than IQ/RJ.

Just looked at the box score to see OG scored 29. I watched the whole game, had no idea he even had 20 pts.

Same here and for as great a reputation as he has in past 2 games against Knicks I can say I’ve seen or felt his defensive presence impacting guys like RJ/Randle

Strangely Obi only 12 minutes last night - 6 points not sure if injured
