This was DDVs first start in a while, against a top 3 team at home. Im confident he'll be more aggressive going forward.

Grimes took it to the rim twice this game, for maybe the first time this season. Looks like it was the right move.

Seems like every good team we play shoots the lights out from distance.

Why is Brunson in when you're down by 10pta with 20seconds left. Poor coaching. Thibs continues to make the same mistakes

Would rather see IQ start next game so JB can rest his ankle, than seeing him try to gut it out. If he's still hurt. Too early in the season for that. Deuce would also get some needed PT to stay ready.

Yes they are consistently amongst the worst in basketball.

Seems like the Brunson ankle roll is minor. Hoping he’s fine with treatment. Individually the Knicks were fine. Seems like Grimes off the bench is rejuvenated. But Knicks need to figure out how to guard the 3pt line.

Just look at the Box score. Those 10 points were at the starting 2 guard spot with DDV scoring only 6. I think that give DDV a couple games to adjust and if Grimes can play the way he played off the bench (maybe he is a second string/summer league star) just really that much better than benches but not up to the level of starters.

The defense sucked but Boston gave up 123 points. it wasn't a defensive battle. They need scoring from 5 positions or extra extra scoring from 4 positions if Mitch can't figure out how to score a little bit.

Disagree. If Grimes had kept starting, and probably still playing poorly. Then his confidence would likely be shot.

I'm also surprised that Grimes was benched so soon after his comments. But the behind the scenes stuff about his frustration, probably made it inevitable.

Would have preferred IQ promoted though. But do realize that the only other player, in the 9 man rotation, who Thibs trusts at PG is IQ.

Been saying this for damn near 4 years. Teams shooting so well from 3 against us is a scheme problem. People don't like when I talk about Thibs though. Our defense relies on people missing open 3's.

People See Randle and Thibs and think. We were trash for so many years and at least we are decent now. So lets ride it out. I see both of them and appreciate what they have done for us but also know in my heart our potentential to get further than where we are will severely be limited while they have prominant roles on this team due to their glaring shortcomings.
