I finally lost patience with RJ. Year 5 and he still consistently puts up bad numbers, makes bad decisions, and plays mediocre defense.

I bet his current value contributed to us losing IQ, one of our best players and a spark plug that turned countless games around.

I wonder if the stagnation of RJ will continue in Toronto.

I'm Jamaican so I will be sad to see RJ go. He will enjoy his oxtail and rice in Toronto.

Had drinks with one of my old timers crowd couple days ago and one of my guys is Jamaican Santa Clause cause of his white beard. My fav outing during summer is when he hosts a weekend party at his house and his whole family spends a full week prep'ing and whatnot.

Jerk Pork and Chicken and everything else and OMG it's one of my fav weekends of the year. I remember the first BBQ party he had and I was blown away by the food. My first real intro to Jamaican food and I am hooked forever and ever.

Will always have a soft spot for RJ. Didn't reach the expectations of a 3rd overall pick but there was a lot to like. RJ should write a book on how to handle the media and play in NYC. He is still only 23 so he has a lot of room for growth. He will be a future All-Star and we will regret trading him.

I’ll admit, I’m not going to miss RJ. Too limited a player.

Broke my heart in some ways - so wanted to see him be that guy for us. On the other hand I will also always be grateful he wasn’t Zion or especially Ja.

It’s really the end of an era because I saw RJ, Toppin and Quickley as those 3 home grown guys who were going to be 3 core players for a long time. Now they are all gone. It’s Brunson, Randle and Anunoby. We will see how this next phase goes.
