Thought I read Langdon said he was cool with Monty Williams coming Back.
Was thinking if they really wanted out from him they'd move him to Lakers if they wanted him. Gets them out from that contract.

Perhaps Cheeks is here in the event Bryant is gone?

Pacers just gave Siakam 4/189

At the time of the trade it was reported that Pacers were going to offer him max money but now that its happen, its kind of crazy.

Wonder how this affects OG negotiations, iHart resigning, and Brunson and Randles extensions.

Monty wife has Breast Cancer and Gores basically kept after him last year.
He had intended to take a year off.
This is his second wife he married after his wife in 2016 died in a car accident. He had 5 kids with her.
I don't know what her prognosis is or how it was going.
The gig in Detroit was not going well.
I had read was meeting with Langdon, got the "was cool" within perhaps wrong.
Does monty go to LA? If so Would take some of the money owed him off Detroit. These contracts are usually offset if they get hired by another team.

Who are these teams GMs? Some of these GM make the dumbest trades. If there is no mistake and the bulls are not getting any 1sts back someone needs to be fired. Giddy was unplayable in the playoffs and you do a 1 to 1 swap for him using Caruso?

Giddey's fit with Shai and Jalen Williams dominating the ball was awkward. He is not a catch and shoot player where Isiah Joe is and so Isiah Joe was preferred. Hayward also didnt fit as he is sort of an older Giddey in some wys. Caruso gives them another tough defender and a guy who can be non ball dominant ball handler and can hit open 3s.
Bulls suffered without Lonzo or quality PG play for 2 yrs. Giddey is still extremely young and has shown a lot of promise and production at this level and can play PG full time. It could be a long term steal for them and I think makes them more competitive next year.

Playing the bulls just became way easier. Brunson won't have to work extra hard anymore and we can play off Giddy on defense.

And Giddey is 9 years younger. OKC needs to make their move and Bulls should look at a rebuild.

DeRozan got to be on the move now, right? Trading a well respected, versatile, All NBA Defense player for...youth. If Chicago was going to find a way to win with this team, Caruso was going to be at the center of it.

Bulls traded their best asset for a guard who can’t shoot or defend and is also due for an extension soon. Okc wins big. The rich get richer.

Regarding the Knicks, this makes okc less likely to offer Hartenstein a big contract right ? Since they have a good starter in Caruso that is due a big extension.
