Toronto lost to Washington 102-86, and Boston lost to Indiana 106-96, so with todays win we gain some ground on them.

Tim better bring his A-game (defense) for Vince.

It's a back-to-back for both teams...but most of our starters got to rest tonight in a breeze of a game.

good game. That Hawks team sucks and we did what a good team should do. I think tomorrow is a legit test as Tor will come out with some fire after getting pelted by Wash. They have been a good matchup for us of late, so it should be interesting.

Our 2nd unit is playing lights out. Penny's scoring, Sweetney's blocking some shots and drawing double teams, JYD's defense, Ariza's energy. Even Brewer giving MArbs some rest tonight. This is a deep team that gets more and more fun to watch the more they WIN

Marbury looked utterly bored out there. Its almost like he scored some just because. 4-1 at home.. as it should be.

I'm not overly impress with this win, but I like the trust these guys are starting to have in each other, and finally Marbs is starting to show some leadership skills.. Very Vocal, animated enough, and unselfish.

A few comments:

Steph has unbelievable strength. I don't know how he finishes drives like he does.

I like Brewer. I think he was a nice pickup for the league min. Isiah's spotted some nice talented players.

JYD is an awesome role player. He looks stronger too. I don't remember his biceps being this large.

Jamal chucked up a few more bad shots than usual today. I love his talent and potential, but I don't understand why his first reaction is to do unnecessary dribbling as soon as he catches the ball. He forces himself into tough shots.

It appears that for some reason, Lenny and/or Isiah feel that Sweetney just isn't ready for major minutes yet.

Baker looks awful. Maybe signing him was a favor to his agent who worked so hard to put Crawford in a Knick uniform. If so, then signing him was well worthwhile, though.

i am. this is the type of game we had problems with the past few years. we pretty much toyed with this team and had them beat from the get go. this was a very good win that told me this team is really coming along nicely.

but tonight in toronto - let's see if we're ready for the challenge. i'm just glad tor played last night also.
