All summer I've been looking for a jersey to purchase...as a yankee fan, I went through the same back and forth, and settled on Sheffield...now I'm saying the same about Gazy.

Against the cavs he started putting it together, 4 boards, good defense on the kid and 2/3 from 3 point range.

He will get better.

I'm getting a Tim Thomas Jersey...Who's with me?

Also, Houston should play sixth man this year so next year he can be the next Grant Hill. He still can't play defense.
all kool aid all the time.

I've been trying to decide on a jersey too, but a little difference in oppinion here. My choices were Sweetney, Ariza, Crawford, or a classic Ewing or Starks jersey. (Along with a Mussina or Giambi jersey)
TT is the farthest from that list right now.
I have been hearing good things about Houston's progress today, and I just read a VERY positive quote.

http://www.nba.com/knicks/inthepaint/practice_041122.html

“I’m ready to go,” added a widely smiling Houston. “I feel like I can begin to scrimmage any time the team wants me to.”

He doesn't have to be a 6th man oty, assuming he doesn't start, just provide some extra life off the bench. When he comes back, I will really be liking our second unit.

I'm just optimistic on the potential of hte 27 year old that put up big numbers last year, got injured in the playoffs and is playing through family issues AND keeping a positive attitude through it all.

with his contract and history, he's also virtually unmovable, so I'm sure he will be here after the break...can we really say that about ariza and sweets and for that matter kurt thomas...well, the more I think about it...maybe it's time to pick up a number 11.

You don't wanna buy a jersey, just cause you're stuck with the guy. Actually, with his contract, I wouldn't be surprised if he is gone at the deadline, or in the offseason. I would be surprised to see Sweetney or Ariza go anytime soon though.

Nor I. No way. Wouldn't flatter him that way. Would never wear the jersey of somebody who doesn't give it their all.

Here is a question for you all, who would you want to run the point when Houston is with the second unit??? Personally, I wouldn't mind Brewer backing Marburry at all. He is a defender, and we need that.

How about:

Brewer
Houston
Penny
Sweetney
Sundov or JYD

It's going to be a 3-guard rotation. When Marbury is out, Crawford will be running the point. When Houston is out, Crawford will be playing SG.

15 & 5 as a starting F last year...those are OK, but not big numbers imo...i don't think you should expect him to put up much better #'s than that over the course of the season...if he does, i'd be shocked.

At this point, I am ready to ship Tiny Tim to Philly for Glen "Big Dog" Robinson. We can have the dog pound with JYD. At least Robinson has 1 year left on his contract.

Eactly, G dog, ha.ha.

Give timmy a chance he'll come around. People forget how bad KT was playing after feb, of last season, or how allan use to be known for slow starts, and wouldn't come around until late dec. It's pretty fustrating watching him, but give him a break he'll come around.
