Last time there was an expansion draft, teams were allowed to protect 8 players and the new teams could each select up to 1 player from each team. Now, the G-League didn't exist. But, if you could only protect 8 players on the Knicks roster, who are you keeping and for giggles, in what order?

4) Grimes
5) Randle
6) Barrett
7) Hart
8) DDV
9) iHart
10) McBride
11) Sims
Could be as early as 2025 and there are multiple draft picks coming in over the next couple years. They could change the protections. But when people talk about keeping all this talent, I think there is a clear consideration to consolidate some assets, including both picks and players.
