I think that with Indiana short on people, Bird will surely tab Haislip from the FA wire. I think that IT should seriously entertain signing him now before we lose out on him.

Every team so far has passed on him...chances are there is not much to miss out on.

I'm just not really thinking like we need them. Nazr and Kurt are playing well, so are JYD and Sweets (although, not as well as I had originally pictured). I recall s3231 saying he plays more like a SF. Should he really be taking away minutes from Penny, Ariza, or JYD (TT will still be getting minutes either way).

Are Moochie or Sundov getting minutes right now? They both have guaranteed contracts, no need to add another if we aren't going to use it. Plus we still have Vin somewhere out there.

I just want to stockpile talent. Haislip is a long run-jump athlete that has some potential. Moochie has no potential. Sundov? maybe. Vin I think is safe for now and is viewed as a charity reclamation project for Dolan and IT.

If he's still out there in January, I have no problem signing him to a 10 day contract, but for right now, I like the way Lenny has made the rotation.

Haislip was supposed to be trying out for a roster spot on the Nets....nothing else was said about it. It was him and a few other players.

Don't we read the same articles. No one mentioned this? You guys are slippin.

Looks like Haislip is finally going to get picked up by Indy.

They're desperate for players because of the suspensions. Haislip would probably still be unemployed if it weren't for the suspensions. This is a golden opportunity for him, though. He should get enough minutes to show what he can (or can't) do.
