This is a pretty well established thing. It’s also the reason Dallas - bereft of big men who can also space, just like the rest of the league - don’t even bat an eye about prioritizing signing him.

Christian Wood has previously averaged 20ppg (on a bad team) while hovering in the 38+% from downtown and finds himself without suitors.

The rest of us should just do the math.
