The offseason just started. Lots of teams just acquired draft picks and now free agents. With the new CBA and these new players there will be further roster adjustments and players being shed by teams. Knicks acquired TE for a player on a rookie scale and teams will be looking at players they won't want to extend to trade them. Look at Houston trading Garuba and Ty Ty Washington for nothing and several other players as well after free agency and the draft. Knicks will trade second rounders and their TPE for such a young player. Take a flier on young big forward likely in the near future. Then see if your reaction changes

I know you have been on Jackson-Davis all year. You wanted to trade into the first round for him. He was an end of second round guy. Maybe he ends up being a player. But have to realize those older rookies who don’t shoot don’t have a high likelihood of making it in the league. Maybe he’s the exception though.
