I predict we trade Fournier and Obi for scraps, sign DiVincenzo and someone like Taurean Prince to replace Obi. No major trade for any star.

OG to CAA hold significant stock for me. Either RJ and a few picks for OG or RJ, IQ and very little draft compensation for OG. Signing DiVincenzo, or if he’s unavailable, Malik Beasley as a backup plan.
C Robinson I can see this as the rotation. If Quickley is also moved in an OG trade, I can see Jokubaitis coming over and either he or McBride playing backup PG minutes instead. I can see the Knicks filling out the roster with guys like Arcidiacono, Gibson and Winslow when it’s all said and done. Knicks will still have ammo for the superstar yet to be determined, but be a better shooting team and a better defensive team in the meantime. Saying all this, it definitely won’t happen. |

This would be an ideal offseason for me but really don't know if RJ alone (plus picks) does it for Toronto, which is even weird to say but who knows. RJ/IQ feels like too much IMO but someone else framed it as OG/DDV for RJ/IQ and I felt a little better about it. No idea what or if Obi would be included? The free agent market is really weird with CBA and the near hard cap rules. The money is just not there.
OG needs a path to create leverage for a trade so his bird rights transfer. He might not see a path for FA as his best and forcing a trade might be his objective. Why else would he change agents? Perhaps he did not agree with them and visa versa? Or its about sucking up to CAA and the MSG connection? Or leverage to get the deal in Toronto done instead of waiting? Do I want him here? Lets just say im not sold change is always improvement if RJ is the price, but im not closed minded about it. Perhaps if I was a Raptor fan I'd be a fan of OG and not want him traded as well.
