Chauncy Billups played with Rip Hamilton in Detroit who was coached by Tom Thibodeau in Chicago.

So obviously Tom told Rip (because he coached him) to tell Chauncy (because they are obviously friends, duh) to tell Joe Cronin (Blazers GM) that Cam is a ****er and to let him go and Cronin, because he has been associated with Portland for 17 years and agreed to a very specific clause in the Josh Hart/Cam trade that Thibideau insisted Portland not resign Cam to make Tom look smart.

It's all Tom's fault.

Cam was recently talking about his bad knick experience as “Favortism and politics” and how refreshing it was to relax and just play in portland. His dreams are going up in smoke. Its not that getting the money is bad, its getting the window of opportunity to develop. When you go to minimum status you are not a priority given the contract, and moved to the back. Also, trades for space and getting released is a reality. Once out, its hard to get back in.
I feel bad for all NBA players who get so close they can almost get an extension. At the same time he verbally been deflecting on others for his shortfalls. Not cool.
Some capped out team will give him the min. Hope he can make good on it. Maybe a dose of maturity can help?

Cam is a slightly better version of Kevin Knox. Thankfully we don't have to worry about either player anymore.

cam 2 years ago on the hawks wasn't bad, he just wanted more Playing Time.

Cam has a low EQ/IQ - doesn't want to do the small stuff

Just read Portland is not offering an extension to Kevin Knox, he will be an UFA.

It’s easy to root for a humble defensive minded player than an inconsistent offensive player who expects things to be given to him.

But physically Cam is the kind of length we need. Frank as well. But if your not a THIBS GUY, you wont play period.
