In the undrafteds, I am looking at Ohio States’ Scottie Middleton. He’s raw but I like his size and his 3. Kind of kid that looks like he could use professional training sooner rather than later. Stats are decidedly unimpressive at OSU. Clearly hasn’t clicked yet, but 6’7, 7 foot wingspan. Reminds me of OG physically, but haven’t seen the same motor. Would collect him and get a personal trainer in his ear quick.
This is the Randle.

Kyrie Irving will miss his sixth straight game today with an injured thumb. I can’t imagine what another tank job would do to Luka. Kyrie wouldn’t give a s#!t I’m sure.

If an MVP level player like Doncic plus a high level talent like Irving can't stay out of the lottery, that's pretty sad.
Shouldn't that knock Doncic out of the MVP conversation?

Throwback draft.

I got Sengun, Trey Murphy, Jalen Johnson, Grimes as the post lottery gems? I dont know Cam Thomas. And I like Jalen Johnson best of that list.

Hornets created a bit of a nest for themselves by grabbing Bouknight and Kai.

Jalen Johnson and Cam Thomas were true steals. But it was a pretty flat draft and there was talent to be had all thoughout. Trading back was smart. McBride is looking like he would jump a lot of these folks in the first round. Hopefully its the same with Rokas.

I know the press was on Duarte as a 3 and D solution for us. Murphy seemed to be best of that group, but has fallen off a bit this year.

Imagine GS drafted Franz and Sengun instead of Kuminga/Moody?

Checking in on some players I think are relevant to the Knicks. Kevin McCullar should be a mid first round pick in the range of the Dallas pick. He’s a 2-way nba ready player. Plays great defense and a late bloomer offensively. Seems like a Grimes replacement this summer on a rookie contract. At 6’7 he’s a good sized wing who fits thibs system. Ryan Dunn is a local CAA guy. Elite defender who can’t shoot or score. If he develops a bit on offense he’s a herb jones. If he doesn’t his floor is probably Thybulle. A solid option in the mid first round though with upside. In the second round, Antonio Reeves from Kentucky is an nba ready shooter at 6’6. He has very little upside but with the Knicks connected to Kentucky guys still and him being a wing shooter I think he’s probably a worthy consideration in the middle of the second round. Can’t go wrong with a bench shooter as a value pick in the second round.

The names settling into our range such as Carter, Dunn, McCullar and da Silva all make some sense for various reasons. 4 guys I can totally see the Knicks having an eye on.

He’s the name I’ve been pushing for a bit and I think makes a ton of sense. He’s got some traits of both deuce and quickley. He’s a big East player, which the Knicks like, and son of a former nba player. He’s a Junior and should be somewhat nba ready, particularly defensively. Fits the mold the team goes for in the draft.
