Houston finally joined the team for game day shoot around yesterday. Things are looking up on the team as is, but I can't wait for him to come back and give us some solid shooting. I think it will be a great boost in the arm. Let's use this thread to post good things about Houston and send him our positive energy, hoping he comes back soon!

his perimeter shooting will only give us yet another weapon to go to when other guys get cold...TT's minutes are going to be almost non-existant if he keeps playing the way he has been & Houston shows his knees are healthy again.

biggest thing allan houston gives is a go-to guy late in games, you can count on him hittin a shot late in games and or drawing a double to get people open

TT minutes should go down no matter wat, let penny play more, jyd, ariza, ANYONE... bench that fool... how many times have i said it.. i duno... but houston should take pennys minutes at the 2 and penny can take TT minutes at the SF HOW ABOUT THAT?

late in games, sure, if they are down by a little and need shooting, but nothing significant really.

in crunchtime, that 3 G rotation could get alot of play...it could knock off several minutes from the SF position, which would then be divied up between Penny, TT, Ariza & JYD depending on which 1 of those guys were on that particular night...some games Houston may not play much at all depending on how his knees feel, but i did say that if his knees were healthy & if TT kept playing the way he is, that TT's minutes could really suffer from Houston's comeback.

Houston will be so huge for us because of his ability to carry a team offensively. With him there will hardly be any more offensive slumps like we have seen. The way Crawford was hitting those perimeter shots yesterday which basically won us the game. Houston could be counted on that consistantly. And when the Knicks are scoring like that it makes them a better defensive team.

I just hope when he comes back this injury doesn't take anything away from him.
