28ppg, 40mins, 2 TOs in 11 post season games and shot well. We have a 26 year old star player
A wonderful season and acquisition. I hope we don’t build him up to the point of unreasonable expectations and then blame him when convenient.
I thought it was kind of gross to see videos of bing bongers tearing down Randles picture near the Garden. Chant “MVP” one week then vilify him another.
Seems rather NY to me. No surprises with NYers. That’s the culture unfortunately. Impatient, cold hearted, no nonsense. Plus a 50 year drought on top, and boom the birth of bing bong.
JB has been outstanding this season and playoffs. I too did not expect to get a damn superstar in free agency. We just needed a PG in the worse way and got more. What is his ceiling?
Lowry was and is a tough defender with 3 & D skill set from the PG position.
Both can hit big shots.
But JBs footwork, change of pace, hezzy, spin moves, up and under, faders……..I can go on.
They are opposite to be. Where Lowery is great at defense, JB is weak to average. Where JB is great on offense and Lowery is average to good.
Both are PGs I would love to have on my team. Both great as far as their impact on the team from the same position. Similar in ht and size. Both move at their own speed. Maybe I just talked myself into agreeing. They are similar but JBs offensive bag and clutch performance, add in leadership and floor general, thats superstar level. CP?
