Does Indiana have to pay the suspended salaries?

They certainly don't have to refund tix sold?

If they don't have to pay, the profitabilty is huge.

ANd.

They could get lotto pick?

DO they have thier pick?

IF not, imagine the windfall for the team holding it..Indy was almost sure to be a very late first round pick, now it could be top 10!

Anybody disagree Artest is a cancer? Or a genious?

So your advice for teams looking "to rebuild on the fly" is to have their all stars jump in the stands?
Let's have TT test it out first and see how it goes from there.

No, I wouldn't tank a season when you already have a 61 win team that can compete for a championship. And I think they'll make the playoffs now anyway or if they do miss the playoffs, they'll probably have a very late lottery pick (like around 12 to 14). Jermaine O'Neal and Stephen Jackson will be playing the majority of the season. This team is not gonna get a high draft pick like the Spurs did that year when David Robinson was injured and they got Tim Duncan.

Of course not, but I was wondering if anyone knew the pick status and that they are not required to pay the salary!

I think we should toss TT out into the stands, but in the cheap seats!

Usually the tough guys are in the cheap seats.

JO & Stephen Jackson will be back by the Allstar break, so i don't see this as the end of the world for that team...but they will have a hard time in the playoffs w/o Artest to shut down the other team's best player...i bet they're sorry they traded Al Harrington now.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

It's looking more and more like they should have traded Artest and kept Harrington
