Fuck that 8th seed vs. 5 seed. Heat took out the beat team in the league and are took us apart today from the opening bell. I won’t react to “Well, if we trade………” or “we need to..”.
Nope. Thats easy to type.
Whats the point of this thread?
Maybe we just not as good as we the fan would have hoped.
“But the Refs”……..
It was part of it.
“We can’t shoot”. We had the 4th best offense all season long. Then we run into the Heat who **** up teams schematics. They are good. We did not lose the game. They beat us. They were tougher.
Did we play our best game? No. Why? They took us out of what we do well.
Kyle Lowry is like a small Paul Pierce. Looks like him. Gives me the creeps.
Bam and Love flat out played our bigs.
Brunson is worn out. Not his fault, he tries damn hard. Just so much we can do.
Is all lost? No. Its ok to split and come home tied. But thats for another day.
Great season if this goes no further, but Im not giving up. They Kicks can win next two.
Heat won’t ever quit. Riley is evil.
WE are in the game and future is good. The present is not too shabby!

I'm happy with the team making it to the second round. Heck, we weren't even supposed to be here. Will it be painful getting knocked out by the Heat of all teams? Yeah. But sitting back and looking at things, it's hard to deny this team made progress. But this team will need to make moves in order to improve and I'm not talking about Giannis three years from now. I trust Leon the don to make the appropriate moves.

Maybe the record for the Heat wasn't indicative for their team. They dealt with injuries all year and didn't add K Love until the end. Lowry Butler and Love are all proven performers in the playoffs who have a lot of swagger. Last year the Heat were the number one seed and have returned everyone except switching PJ Tucker for Love.

Anyway, I hope Thibs can start throwing spaghetti at the wall to see of it sticks. Rose McBride and Fournier should get a try. Knicks were only - 6 in the non RJ starters minutes. Maybe roll with IQ JB and Josh starting.

Some ****ty luck too. Thibs calls timeout, Heat challenge and get 3 free throws. I still have hope that Randle can make an impact.

Some things fans are asking for like EF or Deuce might actually make it worse.
Sometimes you lose when teams fails to execute, but often is you los when the prevented from executing.
its 2-1, not quite “Checkmate” in this chess game. Game 4 still needs to be played.
After a beat down its easy to be discouraged.

They will bring a different energy for sure.

Nobody bringing up the fact that Miami is just zoning and clogging the middle and the solution is to bring regular season 30% 3point shooters in Fournier and McBride to fix the offense and spacing?

For me, our regular crew needs as much playoff playing time as they can get. Fournier is a complete waste of time for any minute he plays.

Believe its over the top, with zero PT. Sometimes a little used bench player can provide a spark. Last night would have been a good opportunity. Getting our arses handed to us.

EF is a vet, and the young guys have been showing their inexperience. Dont believe some minutes for Fournier in a blowout, would have hindered their development.

Ef has been underwhelming and ineffective in every single minute I’ve seen him play this year. Crap 3 point shooting, no defense.

I know Ef had a good game or two during the midpoint of season; but not sure if he really will be in the league in a year. Game 3 would have been the time to throw EF in

Miami was playing 90s defense, foul until the refs call it.Took thibs one whole half and his staff too,to figure out that Miami was playing ZONE.

That's the truth. He could have sank a couple of three pointers. The Heat would have been more than happy to exploit him on D. Remember last season

Yeah because IQ and Grines shooting below 20% from 3 and playing turnstile D has been great so far
