This guy in the 4th quarter today was everything. Guy was drawing loose ball fouls, diving for balls, getting rebounds, making great passes, closing out in D. His motor/hustle is non stop. Plays with a never say die attitude and makes smart plays. Gave the team huge minutes with Mitch in foul trouble from the jump, and then managed to not foul out himself and mostly contain the Heat back cuts.

Over the 2nd half he has been an outstanding player for this team.

Knicks adding Brunson, Hart and Hartenstein over the course of one season is incredible. That’s 3 of the 6 guys (Randle, Barrett and Mitch the other 3) that have made this team worthy of being in the 2nd round.

That 1 POSSESSION where iHart Recorded either 3/4 Offensive Rebounds IN A ROW was a Postseason (Changing) POSSESSION!

Mitchell Robinson + Isiah Hartenstein = NBA's #1 Center Duo.

Not a secret. Knicks have a dog with skills in iHart. We have a hell of a tandem at the 5.

The secret MVP here is Thibs. Remember when everyone was like 'wahhh, play Randle at the 5, play small ball, we're better that way waaaaaaaaaaahhhhh!!!'--and Thibs got crucified for insisting on playing centers? We have three quality options at C, a lot of teams have none. This time of year that is such an advantage and thank you Thibs for sticking to your guns

This was his exact game coming to the Knicks, with even more 3point potential. Knicks asked him to concentrate on D and rebounding, and he has answered.

Can't wait to watch this guy next year.

love Hatenstein's grit

the secret is, where is his 3 pointer? Wasn't he supposed to have some stretch to him?

Or a clinching game!!!

Hart is not a good shooter, but when the game is close and he's launching from the corner you know it's going to go in

I'd like a little of that from Hartenstein too. Break the opponent's will

He took 30 3pt shots last year and made 14. Very small sample- hard to extrapolate. He shot a few at the beginning the of the year and missed. Then Mitch got hurt and he realized that's not his role here and focused on what he knows he can do well and make an impact - then he became a winning player.
