On landing Aaron Rodgers.

As a longtime Bucs fan, I watched what Brady did for the franchise. Baker Mayfield now

Havent seen Rodgers this happy since his glory days. Might bring them back to the Jets. Should be a fun ride. Enjoy it while it lasts!

As a long time, suffering Jets fan, I am ecstatic to finally have a legit QB (even-though he is going to be 40 in December ). Hopefully, he leaves his diva act in Wisconsin...

I'm guessing he knows that he isnt a big fish in a little pond anymore.

Im a giant fan but not a jet hater. NY first.
I respect Rogers but not a fan. I have good friends from GreenBay and if not in the way of Giants was happy for their success. They are glad he is gone. time to move on.
Be nice for my Jet fans to get one. Its been a long time. Other than that, I'd root for Zach Wilson.

Now that the draft is over any chance we trade for some offensive line starters, from teams who drafted O linemen ?

I’ve seen this before. Esisaon testerverde farve etc but this team has more legit stars

If Rodgers still has something left in the tank, Jets are contenders.

Similar situation to the Bucs, as far as Rodgers (like Brady) is joining a talented roster. They showed it before he got there.

Rodgers looked at the press conference the same way he did when he first started dating Olivia Munn lol. Like a new man. All depends on what he has left in the tank.

I am pretty much against these kind of moves - throwing assets at an aging star is not good business to my mind. But Rodgers certainly gives the Jets a much better chance to win now. Personally I think they should have gone for the younger Carr and saved the draft picks and some money. We shall see.

Of course this is all in the shadow of using the third overall pick on D'Arnold and second on Wilson in the space of a couple of years. Yikes. Worse than Frank and Knox.

Boomer was done by the time he got here. Vinny’s best years of his career were as a jet. Favre trade worked until he got injured


And Rodgers is way better than all 3 of them

I would resign Fant and have him start at RT. Move Becton back to LT have him compete with Brown. Gonna be a long summer with Knicks getting eliminated and Yankees stinking thanks to Cashman. Gonna count the days to week 1 NFL

Dalvin Cook is a great pickup. Reminds me of when the Bucs signed Fournette. Shore up the O-line, and the Jets will be tough to stop.

Not much of a bright side to this.

Jets can still use this to their advantage if Rodgers comes back for another season. All but said it. Unless they bring in a vet, who plays like their old self, Jets look like they'll be getting a high pick. Looks like they'll be keeping it because Rodgers didnt play enough games contractually.

Rodgers was on his heels from the start of the opener. Drafting an elite prospect for the O-line. Trading for one or more quality tackles is the way to go. Jets have the entire season and offseason to plan on how they can make that happen.

Brady had elite protection the year my Bucs won it all. Give that to Rodgers, and the Jets have a good shot at contending. Should be job one.

Well, cant complain about how the Bucs season ended. I wasnt really psyched about Mayfield as QB, but he made me a believer. More important, his teammates believe in him.

Close game vs Lions, got outschemed more than anything. But they overachived with Brady gone, and Baker's first season as a Buc, and Canales first as Buc OC.

As for the Jets, still believe you get Rodgers elite protection , and you will be in good shape. Rodgers, like Brady can get rid of the ball in a hurry.
