I really don't like Houston at SF, but it can't be any worse than TT in the lineup right now.
I would probably stay with bringing either Houston or Crawford off the bench (which one depends on how Houston seems after he comes back).

here is what I think is going to happen.

When Houston is ready, he will first come off the bench and replace Crawford. Crawford has been coming out near the end of the first these days and replaced by Penny. Marbury will come out near the beginning of the second and be replaced by Crawford, who plays the point. With Houston, Crawford and Penny in the game, you still have 2 pass-first guards in Craw and Penny until Marb comes back in.

It will be a 3 guard rotation.

IF and WHEN Houston is fully back, you may see him start with Marbury in the back court, and the offense will focus on him at the beginning of the game, instead of someone like TT.

Maybe you can play Houston for a few min at SF, but not as a starter. Having an SF give you 2 rbs in 40 mpg just kills you. TT's a bad rebounder for his size, but 4 to 5 rbs in 30 min is A LOT better than 2 in 40 mpg. You can't get away with a frontcourt player giving you 2 rbs in 40 min unless you have a PF or C who can give you 15. It was bad enough when Spree gave us 4 rbs in 40 mpg.

i like the idea of bringing houston off the bench for the first couple of games. it will ease him in and won't effect Jamal who's playing really well.

Considering how bad his knee injury is, Houston has to show that he can handle significant minutes off the bench for at least 20 games and probably closer to 40 (one half of one season) before I'd consider starting him (unless you're gonna start him by drastically limit his minutes).

I can't wait to see Marbury and Houston together in a game, in this new team. It should be great! Houston is gonna love it. I hope he stays healthy once he comes back.

Man please, Houston doesn't rebound but what is Tim averaging on the glass these days?

No way I want Houston at SF.

But anyways, once Houston can show he can play 24 minutes a night and we trade Sweets and T.Thomas for a TRUE CENTER (lol), I'd like to see this lineup...

TRUE CENTER Mohammed

Kurt JYD

Penny Ariza

Houston
Crawford
Marbury

Depending on who the center is this could be our "Championship Lineup".

Regardless of who starts (I would stick with Crawford and bring Houston off the bench), they will employ a lot of 3 guard sets depending on the match ups.

last night, Marbury, Crawford & Penny worked really nicely together & the ball was moving real well...i'd use that rotation alot more.

sure, you have 3 great passers on the floor at the same time, that helps our ball circulation a lot.

Sweetney is an excellent passer also. He really looks for open teammates rather than force a shot. I think thats what impresses me the most for guy that dominated physically out of college.
