...at the start of this season, the Nets with Durant and Kyrie would trade both midseason and the Knicks would finish with a better record.

Well - I did think there was a chance that between their breakdowns (Durant body, Kylie, brain) the Nets were not a lock and not necessarily better. I thought the same for Philly with Harden - that has been the biggest surprise, to me.

But absolutely, did not think we would be this good (thank you Josh Hart!) and did not think we’d be better than the Dallas Knicks.

I hope Miami catches Brooklyn for 6th seed (knocks Nets into the Play-In) and then the Nets completely collapse and lose 2x during the Play-In (and miss the real Playoffs).

Or without either most of the season together, then traded they’d hang on for a playoff spot?
That ATL, Raptors, and Miami all vying in the play in?
Nets not there yet, but credit to coach Vaughn.

It’s actually worse than that. A big chunk of people who know everything in the media had them as the favorites to win it all. KD and Kyrie were going to take the selfie of all selfies with the nba trophy in front of MSG on the day of the ticker tape parade

I dont see dallas winning any more games, thats gow pathetic they have become! It would take the help of OkC and the Bulls to help the knicks get that pick.

Who would have thought the Knicks would make the playoffs the last 2 out of 3 seasons and they have yet to play a play-in game in those 3 years.

Who would have thought that 3 games separate us from the Cavs. We were supposed to be fighting for a play in spot. I really want this first Rd series against the Mitchell Cavs

Who would have thought the Knicks would get a pick 11-14 from Dallas. If they finish 10th we have like a 20 percent chance of getting 11 or 12 if they fall in the lottery. We never move up in the lottery, the lotto owes us. 20 percent I like those odds
