Question regarding trying to clinch the 5 seed.

So we have 4 games left and Nets 5 with a 2.5 game lead.

If Nets were to go 5-0 and us 2-2 - leaving us both with identical records.

If we win 2 of those games against Eastern Conf. Teams - do we clinch 5th seed based on better conf. Record?

I think the division record counts first, in case of a tie

Yes with the Nets its divisional record. Right now we are 8-8 and done and the Nets are 7-8 with one game against Philly at the end of thr year where Philly will probably rest its starters
