We seem to like sure things. If so, I’m thinking, kris Murray- if he could be and so what his brother does, would be awesome. Could he take Obie’s spot?

Yes he’s a good player and would be fitting here as a backup PF. I went a bit more in depth in the draft thread.

It doesn't matter who's backing up a multiple time NBA All-Star who's just now scratching NBA Superstar Status as a top 1-2 PF in Julius Randle (@ only 28 years of age).

Because regardless if it's Obi Toppin (or someone else);

None of them are going to get anything more than 15 minutes of playing time per game and that's because A.) Julius Randle doesn't miss games . B.) Julius Randle isn't sitting the bench and C.) Rightfully so.

And it's no guarantee the next PF drafted would fit with our 2nd unit (who loves to play at a fast pace) as electric as Obi Toppin has (because his energy doesn't show up on no box score).

I'll have a better understanding of which players could become available once we realize where both Dallas and Washington pick

I will say this. I'm already (ready) to trade both Dallas and Washington picks if there's a player who this Front Office falls in love with on draft night in order to trade up and steal our next future NY STAR Player (ppl say this draft is, generational).

I want to like Murray but when I watch him I keep thinking SOFT both physically/mentally and mediocre nba athlete. Not physical as a 4 and not quick enough as a 3.

Did nit like his last game where he really seemed to hide from the ball for a good portion.

Anybody like Jordan Hawkins?

Watched him for 1st time yesterday - very thin but got a little Ray Allen vibes from him. Very quick trigger —- maybe 6’5” (not sure) but someone with some nba body development could be a long term 3 point shooter

Should be a player capable of playing both forward spots. Would increase his capability of getting mins.

We're winning the lottery so Wembanyama replaces Rob at C!

No but seriously I have not done any scouting on any prospect. I think we'll probably trade the pick like previous years.

Love him but I consider him out of our draft range right now.
