Brunson out, and RJ getting some time again as a main option, might help with his decision making. When he goes back to being mostly a role player.

Looks more comfortable as a star player, than a role player. Most role players cant step up.

Also shows the league what RJ can do for another team, if a trade is on the FO's mind.
