All of this (below) seems to be forgotten (already) and due to 1 single loss (without our Superstar PG Jalen Brunson).

🔹They're coming off 9 consecutive wins which is the 8th longest winning streak within Franchise History (dating back to 1946 of 77 years ago).

🔹This 2022-2023 Knicks team just became the 1st and only Knicks team (within Franchise History) to (ever) have two (2) separate 8+ game winning streaks (within the same season) since dating back to 1972-1973's NBA Championship (🏆) legendary Knicks team.

🔶 We're 12-3 previous 15 games (.800%) and 9-1 previous 10 games (.900%).

But yet we're now (all) reading negativity + sky is falling types of posts/threads and all because we were gassed after beating the Celtics @ Boston (without Jalen Brunson) and during Double Overtime @ that?

@ Sacramento (38-26).
@ Los Angeles Clippers (34-33).
@ Los Angeles Lakers (32-34) without LeBron.
@ Portland (31-34) vs. "Cam Reddish
".

Let's get behind this Knicks team (once again) because A.) we're only 2.0 back of the 4th seed Cavaliers and most importantly B.) have an opportunity to go on a monster run throughout these next 4 @ Road Games (out west).

Our 2022-2023 Knicks now have the NBA's #1 Road Record Winning Percentage @ 20-12 (.625%)

2-2 because these guys get soft out in LA. Nice weather, fancy lunches, and they bring wives and girlfriends shopping.

Come on Nalod man I might've been wrong heading into last year but you've been preaching this ".500 basketball" this entire season I remember you created a thread predicting 41-41 (.500%) etc.

And now all of a sudden we're going from 12-3 previous 15 (.800%) and 9-1 previous 10 (.900%) to only 2-2 next 4 despite having the NBA's #1 Road Record?

Time will tell but I'm feeling 4-0 and maybe 3-1 @ worst.

I'll be happy with 2-2. Nothing wrong with that with Brunson injured and the starters tired.

With only 15 games remaining, in a Playoff hunt and coming off of 12-3 previous 15 + 9-1 previous 10 would become a major letdown going only 2-2 against 3 mediocre teams outside of only Sacramento.

Best Sacramento and I'm thinking 4-0.

Not taking your bait. I predicted what I thought at the start of the season and enjoying this run as much as anyone. Maybe not as much as you. Not like a giddy pied piper of tickle unicorn dust Knickdom like you, but I don’t give a **** either way. I hope they go 4-0. Don’t pretend like your the great defender of enthusiasm and we all salty nay sayers.

To each their own I'm just not sure where the 2-2 and especially "soft" comment came from.

Just in case you missed it the 1st time Nalod.

You can feel 2-2 all you like. That's your right.

But after 12-3 previous 15 @ .800% + 9-1 previous 10 @ .900% + NBA's #1 Road Record?

I'd like to think we'll do much better than 50%.

Which is rich coming from someone who has been making a big production all season of throwing in the towel(in the game thread) as soon as the game looks out of reach.

That's a bunch of horse ****. I'm superstitious and it's been working 90% of the time when I post it and I've never once "quit watching the games" because not even 30 seconds later I'm STILL in the game thread celebrating our comebacks.

This thread wasn't created to take shots at me.

It was created to celebrate this teams recent (incredible run).

And you should try it, because it's fun.

"I'm just pretending to be a lousy fan" got it.

Lets recap...

Dont know even somewhat recent Knicks history (Ewing trade)

Frontrunning a player (Brunson) who hadnt even been a Knick for half a season over a two time NBA champion and one of the 50 greatest players ever.

Quitting on the team and passing that off as being a fan.

Lecturing other fans on being more of a fan than anyone else

You have a very strange idea of what being a fan is. This wouldnt wash in any sport, in any country. Which is why you've been banned all over the internet.

Have some ****ing self-awareness

I can't even...

Here's the dynamic in simple terms:

Others: 'West coast trips are tough. Sacramento is good, the other three teams are all desperate. If they play hard, 2-2 is fine but 3-1 or 4-0 would be great.'

You: 'No, no, I'm a bigger believer and a bigger fans than you are. The Knicks shouldn't go any less the 4-0. Wait and see. It's so funny... high fives something something.'

The Knicks return home 2-2

Others: ...

You: 'West coast trips are tough. Sacramento is good, the other three teams were all desperate. They played hard and 2-2 is fine. But now I expect another long win streak and if you don't think so you're not as big a fan a I.'

I was wondering - how did the 94 Knicks do on their west coast trip - and it doesn't like we did a long trip out west.

https://www.basketball-reference.com/teams/NYK/1994_games.html

In December, they went 2 & 1 vs Utah, Lakers & G State.

They had a 4 game trip vs. Houston, Denver, Phoenix & Sacramento and went 1 & 3 with losses to Houston who we would ultimately face and our only victory against Sacramento.

If we go 1 & 3 this trip, lose to Sacramento and face them in the Finals, and lose, I'll take it. It would be heart wrenching, but after so many decades of pathetic results, so much better.

I'm hopeful JB is back healthy and able to play. I hope Thibs maybe shortens the time the starters are playing and finds a way to get production out of Obi.
