Hey, now that Camby's hurt the Knicks r going down hill and it's going to continue even when he return's.Face it 4get about this season. The Knicks need to start planing for next season.I say make a trade that wouldn't involve any of our top three, which i know it can happen.A center like Dampier,Miller,Kandi,Cambell,Robinson will fit just right with the Knicks. Then have Camby work as hard like he did last summer to gain more mass again, like about another 10-20lbs.He'll be great at the PF position. Then the final piece would be to draft J.Williams. I could see the Knicks in the Championship finals. TRU-FAN!

I'm afraid we'll probably have to deal with one of our Big 3 if we want a decent centre. Teams won't give up on them too easily IMO. Also, I don't think the Knicks will get the #1 year but we should still get a very high lottery-pick. Stern giving us another #1 would be way too obvious.

I would take Yao Ming (7'7" Center with a jump shot) over Duke's versatile point guard any day!

I think Frederic Weis proved that foreign centers are a bit of an unknown. I wouldn't go near Ming and NYFAN4LIFE, the centers you listed are all either awful or wouldn't get traded. The player we need to trade is Camby, he can't play 50 games a year and help this team.

Nowitzki, Stojakovic, Gasol, Divac, Petrovic, Kukoc, Schrempf and others. You guys have to syop thinking that there's no decent Basketball beyond the 50 states. Weiss was a conceptual mistake. He could have probably become a decent shot-blocking presence but not the magical player he was perceived to be.
