he looked fatter than ever last night. i know hes a hard worker, butit may be time to do a complete regulation of his food intake. He needs to be 250 POUNDS not 280 or whatever. there is NO reason why he cant get down to 250 and stay there. hell be much more valuable with the weight off.

nah. sweetney looked alright last night. i haven't noticed any considerable weight gain.
he needs to get the ball more. i mean, i can't harp on this enough, but when he gets it in the post, good stuff usually happens but they don't feature him enough. is it a trust issue, i'm not sure, but i think he's ready to shoulder the offensive load, especially with the second unit.

i have noticed he isn't as chiseled as he was in those summer league photos of him too...i'm sure he's still working hard in practice...maybe they should hire a nutritionist for him to make sure he's eating right.

Sweetney needs to be put on the same program as Rubeen Studderd or whatever his name is, because he is going to lose time, if he is not 15 pounds lighter.
His rebounding should go up as well as his ability to finish around the basket with a little less weight

Nah man. Bill Cosby. Look at re-runs of The Cosby Show when he tries to run silly with his shoulders up, hunched down and his arms in the form of a chicken wing going back and fort.

i dont care how he runs, he gets up and down the court pretty well. but i really think he is heavy and it is taking away from his play IMHO. he needs to be 250 not 280 and they have to convey this to him immediately with proper adjustments. what now they are going to be using KT and NAZR 45 minutes a night? im disappointed. i wanted mike to get 25 minutes a night, but this weight issue IMHO is holding back his play.

i don't think you can point to last night to signify anything...both KT & Nazr were playing well...Sweetney will get his minutes when he shows that he deserves them, bottomline...he isn't quite there yet.

Don't know if it's the pounds, or the road uni, or neither, but Sweets isn't rebounding nearly as well as I expected. Don't know the stats, but I'd be very surprised if he bounds/min aren't way down from the last few weeks of last season when he was getting consistent run. I expected those numbers to go up. Hoping it's just a bit of a rebounding slump because I always thought is key value was in rebounding. Good enough moves to get you 10-15 pts/game as a starter, but I was expecting the same number of rebounds. If he turns into an 8 RPG type player w/ starter minutes, he'll be a marginal player instead of the star I was hoping he'd be.

Sweets is getting 9/5 in 20 minutes off the bench. Thats not bad at all. In fact its VERY similar to another player with a similar game who also needed to lose some baby fat http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/statistics?statsId=3531
