He’s been on the trade block and not even playing for the suns. Reddish for Crowder could make sense.

He at least can try to contain a KD or another superstar wing.

he would be a great fit but I think that's a win now move and I would rather see those minutes go to the young guys in the rotation.

Rose and Reddish would be a good trade.

Deuce isn’t ready yet and it probably moves Simms out of the rotation. But balanced things out and gives us a nice unit of IQ, Jay, Obi, Isiah

Simms will probably get moved out of the rotation when Obi comes back anyway. Now, if they trade Obi to Indiana, Crowder would fit in nice and snug. I'd still say no because Jae wants minutes that the Knicks can't give. I can see him turning a locker room cancer.

Crowder wants to be a starter. I think that’s one of his beefs.

He wanted to start and earn an extension.
Anyone know what PHX wants in return?
Toppin?
Jae makes us better now. There is a timeline for knicks. We have picks, we have excess talent
I think he makes DRose money. Issue is our guy keeps getting hurt.

I'll take Crowder in 2016 or Obi now.

Wow….what a perfect time to disagree. Since I’m the one that used to complain about “playing the yoots more”. But I like the trade for crowder. We can always use a veteran sf/pf 2 way defender. He has the 1990’s grit. He’s also added insurance if we trade Obi.

But I’m wondering why he’s not playing though? I haven’t watched him play in a while. But if he’s a similar version from what I remember, we could use him in spot mins off the bench.

why? He's not winning us a title. He's going to want to start and be a 35 minute Thibs guy. He's 32. You wanna give Grime's minutes to Crowder? I dont

No, no and no.

Nobody wants to add a player that takes time from grimes. So don’t have to worry about that. You talking about a GM and coach who refuse to trade grimes in the Donovan Mitch trade.

Obviously if we trade for him he will only play spot mins. Otherwise I’m against the trade and I doubt they pull the trigger if grimes mins would be impacted. That also depends if the FO see him as a missing piece to that second unit.

Crowder will be 33 next season and looking for his last contract, meaning 3-4 years at above MLE.

If you are trading for him, you don’t give up much and to make it worthwhile, you need to be committed to keeping him around.

Is THAT price worth it? Especially considering the Knick have 2 first round picks who will probably be wing players?

I think Crowder is a great finishing touch for a championship contender. Think of it this way - in a critical loose ball situation, wouldn't you give Crowder better odds of diving on the floor and coming away with the ball, more so than any other Knick on the roster?

I'd feel more confident knowing what I'd get from him on the floor than Fournier or Reddish.

The Knicks basically have 3 extremely expendable players in Fournier, Rose, and Reddish... so if a deal can be had for Crowder in exchange for 1-3 of them, sure, it gets my sign off.

Where do they fit on PHX?
Crowder was to come off the bench. He will here. Does that change?
Perhaps if its in Boston and true contending? Thats the best answer after he phucked up.
EF makes about 5mil more then Crowder.
Drose might be cooked, and they Cam Payne as back up.
Reddish off the bench to supplant Bridges might be ok, what is there SF depth after him?

If Crowder is not playing.. a trade is imminent.. possibly on 1/15 when some newly signed contracts can be traded.
