HE cant be traded this season. He signed an extension and the first date he is eligible to be traded is after the deadline

Dont believe LeBron wants to come to NY just to cash in. If James agrees to a trade, its likely that he sees a path to a championship. So I'm not opposed as a fan, to the FO talking to the Lakers.

LeBron still has something left in the tank, as long as he isnt being used like he's 21, I'm open to the idea.

I am struggling to figure out which hotly discussed idea is more inane: to trade for LeBron or to fire Thibs?

I propose we combine the two: let's fire Thibs and hire LeBron as a player-coach!!!

Truly remarkable generational talent and amazing player! Mad respect for him and his career
lebron is always welcome as a knick. If he was able to come here he is not a finishing piece and thus I don't see the point.
Pehraps when he is a free agent and can play a role with Bronny it could be fun and have moments.
Until we win a chip its ok to have "moments" on the road to it.
But that's for another day.

Which is still an allstar.
Im not sure anyone really thinks Lebron can carry a franchise anymore.
A glorified Randle on a good team is a better team with him.

That would be top 4 in the east. Could win a chip.

no one could carry the scrubs on the lakers to a chip.

It was dumb to trade for Westbrook. AD is always injured.

LOL, I don't want 40 year old lebron and give up 23 year old RJ plus plus.
But if we draft bronny and Lebron wants to come as role player, or off the bench that could be "Fun".
I don't hate the guy, but im not looking at him as a Diva or the alpha player. he comes to extend a legacy, not ruin it!!!!
Thus, my expectations are low.
Trade for him this off season with expectations? Nope.

This would be the PENULTIMATE Starphuch...
Not interested in anyone over 30 at this point as their timeline does not fit for the knicks.

Knicks are a couple of years away from seriously contending..
Pieces given up would set us back just enough to not be able to get it done with an over the hill Lebron.

Thats what it is, if LeBron doesnt care whats left of the roster, after a trade. That would be the definition of a Starphuch. Yes.

If the FO makes some moves before LeBron becomes available. Maybe adding a Star. The FO then finds a way to trade for LeBron. Whats left meets most fans definition of a legit contender. LeBron agrees. The GOAT (a) or (b), who hasnt been wrong yet.

That my friend is not a Starphuch. There is a difference.

Good point, why not have 2 Julius Randles one at each forward position. Then the 5 game losing streak can get extended while Cam collects dust on the bench
