thats 6 weeks... do you ever break a bone and not lose 6 weeks? I think that's the basic window for a non-displaced fracture to heal

"fibula head" UG... not gonna project negative. Plenty of others to fill that role.

Do we roll with 8 or give Cam/Sims his minutes? I say give em to Sims and keep the 9 guys.

That sucks. Feel bad for him. Heal up, reflect and bounce back stronger than before.

Knee injury The good news is that Thibs may be more inclined to play him 36 minutes a game when he returns Seriously, our boy is strong with the force and I'm banking on him to return and bring balance to the lineup. Oh, and try not give Hart any grief. If he really wanted hurt Obi, he would've hit him one of those bricks he launches from three.

Heh. That's how Thibs works. Anyway, tough break. Literally.

This opens the door again for the youth movement that folks are clamoring for. If RJ plays some PF, it means more minutes for some wings.

What are the odds Thibs shortens the rotation to 8 instead of playing Cam as the backup PF

I always had a feeling the Knicks are a bit short upfront. Mitch is gonna miss some time and minutes due to injuries and foul trouble. Cam is too wiry to effectively fill the PF spot. So, more minutes for Randle. Which makes me worried, since he still has a knack for dominating the ball, which he should do less of.

Need to check the stats, but at least the eye test tells me we are not a great rebounding team.

Gotta get a tough guy in here in the Oak/Thomas/Taj mold. Wonder if someone like that can be had for Cam or Fournier.

Doubt it. The rotation is currently 9 without Obi. He loves what Sims brings to the team. And When Hart and Sims play together, Hart will float to the 3 pt line, which keeps the spacing.

JB | Grimes | RJ | Randle | Mitch

Deuce | IQ | Hart | Sims

Need to keep Cam, Rose and EF healthy for potential trades. And so far these 9 players have held their own, without Obi.

Not sure which player(s) but this would be a good time to give reserves who have been glued to the bench, a few minutes here and there. Lets the coaching staff see what they have, outside of practice. Also keeps the rotation players from logging too many minutes, before a playoff run. We hope.

Never know when they'll be needed. Lets them see what they need to work on in the meantime. If they dont plan on sending them to the G-league.
