i was watching the spurs and watching us now... the difference is not talent, the difference is SMARTS... they play the game like its ment to be played you got to PASS and MOVE and SPACE the knicks just fumble around like a And1 pickup game

who's fault is this? marbs? lenny? i dunno but the effort on D has been up lately, its just our ORGANIZATION that sucks... Barkley kinda pinpointed it too, i think it might be lenny... but i hate to say it

this is sad. The rockerts stink and aren't even playing well yet they are betting us by 7 because Marbury isn't doing **** and TT is on the bench

It's easy to look smart when you can run plays through Tim Duncan.

The Rockets are NOT a bad team. Any team with T-Mac and Yao is good. They're in the west and they've had to play some games without T-Mac.

Relax guns. A great thing about this game, and you're gonna love this, they're going to play TWO halves. Isn't that something.

Our big guys are playing pretty well actually.
All we need is for Marbs to make some noise in the second half, and we should be good.

marbury is playing well.

i like how he's just passing and trying to get everyone else involved. i think he's really trying to become that leader he's always criticized for not being.

everyone is playing hard (except for everyone's favorite player of the moment).

the spacing on the floor stinks but that'll come with time.

get sweets in the game and give him the got damn ball.

especially since he's not going anywhere.

sometimes i think 1/2 the people on these boards can do a better job than isola and the other usual idiots.

I'm not sure this qualify him as a leader, seeing as he isn't actually "leading" us to anything. He is passing first, which is a good sign, but he's got to go for his own shot occasionally too. It will make this game much smoother for him and our offense.

kenny and charles really made some valid points at the half.

1. kenny said that the rockets put themselves in these situations where they give every team a chance to win against them b/c they play slow down ball.

2. charles said that the knicks have a bunch of overrated talented players that have no clue how to play together. he also said that isiah undermined his coach by selecting his staff.

very interesting a solid points.

last thing I want to see is another "moral" victory. it's ok to beat a better team every once and while. If not then you will see many 7 game losing streaks

Yes, as it was put in an article in the times: if Lenny is going to be judged on results, you have to let him pick his staff.

OK, we all know TT is struggling...how does running offensive plays, just for him, help our cause any? I have no problem with him playing, and trying to break out of his slump, but is he really our #1 option?

I don't know how to explain this. We just aren't playing up to par so far.
Atleast we have some inspiration...Houston led the Hawks by 11 in the 4th quarter the other night and lost.
We can still pull this out, we just need to get something goin.
