i hate to say it but i was watching the nets game and thikin about it...

Kidd is still better than Marbs...

Jefferson is better than our second best player, weather u wanna say that is craw or houston

and Zo the way he is playin is better than anyone in our front line...

so damn... are they STILL gunna be better than us? this sucks.. :(

they would probably beat us right now without kidd. the only reason craw or houston is considered our 2nd best player is because sweetney and ariza dont get the minutes that they should.

ARE YOU SERIOUS?? I highly doubt that the Nets (without Kidd) can beat us right now, I know the Knicks arent playing that well right now but come on, I think when we play the Nets we should beat them easily.

Nets did beat the Knicks in preseason, and SFs that play both ends KILL the Knicks. Wouldn't be a stretch to say that the Nets, even without Kidd, could beat the Knicks.

I'm not sure who is the best in our division. But I will say if you take all the teams and give them our early schedule any of these teams would expect to go 3-6 would not be surprised to be 2-7 and would be on cloud nine if they came out 4-5. Let's get this Texas trip out of the way and then we can get down to business. Remember the other teams are going to have to experience this as well.

Marty--the Knicks went 2-0 against the Nets in the preseason. If Kidd is ever fully healthy again (a huge if considering his injury and microfracture surgery), it's not as lopsided favoring the Knicks.

It's about even, but the Knicks are not as bad as they are playing now.

I still think we're a better team. We are pretty even as far as starters go, maybe give the Nets a slight edge, bu we have a much deeper bench.

Kidd, Jefferson, and Mourning is still better than anything we have. And our victories were not really that big in the preseason.

Everyone with a healthy Kidd would rate them above the Knicks. He is top 6 in the league, Steph isn't top 15

thats a good list and fair. Steph is probably in the 15-20 list with Baron Davis, Artest, Pierce.. those types.

If Kidd is healthy the Nets are better, but not by much. KMart was the one matchup that killed us, not RJ. Without KMart and with a healthy Kidd I think its a wash, but give the Nets the edge because of chemistry. Lets not forget Kittles, who as also an import player, esecially in their running game.
