After all that, why did no reporter say the Cavs could offer all that, LOL.

Sneaky of the Cavs to deny they had interest. Good move for them, f*** Ainge, hope they all end up as late firsts

Think it was right of us not to give up all our draft capital, we’d of been stuck with a roster that didn’t fit together and with limited means of upgrading it.

Hope we can land SGA or something. Feel sorry for D-Mitch, handled this like a pro and ends up on a team that will do great but not a destination he wanted to go to

Yeah I don’t mind so much that we didn’t get him…

But I think 3 unprotected first rounders might have been doable.

Look at the full deal- would have cost us RJ, Obi/Grimes, 3 unprotected and 2 unprotected swaps. Just too much! Makes more sense for the Cavs as they have the rest of their roster pretty much set, we don’t

FWIW I'd have been fine with the picks, but I'm curious if you guys think the players Utah got from CLE were as good as what was being bandied about in speculation from NYK.

Point is the NYK could have, but FO said FDA approved to this deal. We ain't biting.Back to our plan, not theirs. I'm so proud and happy.

Yes, Toppin, Grimes, and Fournier with 3 unprotected and 2 pick swaps is not something I would want to do. We just have to now hope we fans are right, and Grimes blows up this year.

You are right though. The Cavs will be tough this year.
