So this is step 1 of the negotiation with Dallas and Knicks... Brunson announces his intentions and now Dallas grovels for whatever scraps the Knicks throw their way.

With Burks gone we need shooting more than anything. Fournier would do well for us in the 2nd unit when Grimes/Reddish takes his spot(eventually).

It will be interesting to see what happens with the league and whether they pursue tampering claims. They started an investigation about Lowry and I don’t think the Raptors complained. I guess as long as the Knicks did not directly talk to Brunson they may get a pass.

I'm on a 12 hour time difference and was so nervous I woke up at 4:30 am. Great news for NY, great job by the front office. I don't think a sign and trade happens- Thibs loves everyone on the roster. Knicks might even try to bring Burks back at the deadline if Reddish doesn't pan out. Next stop- Mo Bamba!

Knicks have like 17 second round picks. We should be tampering more

It’s pretty sweet. And I have nothing against the nets but I can’t stand KD/Kyrie and the ignoramuses in the media who acted like they were going to win 5 championships in Brooklyn

The league clearly doesn't care.

The Miami Heat were docked their next available second-rounder for negotiating with Kyle Lowry ahead of the free-agency period. The draft pick is conditional and may depend on whether the team makes the postseason in 2024.

The Heat took the high road in a statement regarding the forfeited draft pick while clinging to innocence: “While we disagree, we accept the League’s decision. We are moving on with our season.”
