Last season I spent over $200.00 to get most all of the Knicks games and I regret it.Look Leon Rose think that we can get a super star player?? Not in New York.It is a pipe dream. You mean to tell me there was no one we could get at #11 ? Last years draft we thought we were so smart then we brought in broken down players that no one else wanted like Walker.I think that Leon Rose is over his head. The one thing I saw in the play offs and that was shooters, shooters, shooters, oh yes we had son defense but those shooters. That's something we don't have much of. We have an old school coach who won't change.
Just be honest with yourself, these team that we are up against this season are great. Rose I have no faith

I have faith in Rose and there is nothing he can do to turn the Knicks into a championship contender next season. I'm all for what he's been doing by holding onto young talent and choosing to develop them.

We have an old-school coach who won coach of the year in his first year and if not for COVID and injuries the Knicks could have made the playoffs again but it doesn't change the fact that the Knicks made the playoffs.

I've been a die-hard Knicks fan my entire life and I'm confident that as long as Dolan leaves Rose to do his thing as he does with the Rangers the Knicks will be able to compete for a championship.

I get the frustration but I'm looking forward to year 3 of the regime.

If it's any consolation, it's in the team's best interest to suck and get leapfrogged by the Wiz and Detroit. Not too much, but enough to push those guys into the play-in. Seriously, I have no problem with the team being mediocre if it leads to the development of the youth. The Thibs methodology does have its place. The young bucks need to learn what it takes to be successful in this league. My problem was the times we played our "vets" when it was clearly to the detriment of the team. If Burks is stinking it up, let him sit. He doesn't need the developmental reps. Let's see what Obi, IQ and Grimes can do. There were plenty of instance when the youth was cooking and Thibs had the compulsion to insert his struggling vets. You have to do what works to win. The great coaches adjust

Rose and Perry have been ok so far. They had a tremendous first year then a couple bad moves last year (Randle, Kemba). If they can get one of Brunson or Tyus Jones that’s a way bigger deal then people seem to understand

We were 5-1 to begin the season when we had competent PG play with Kemba and Rose both playing

Outside of Steph I don't think there was one real good shooter in the Finals. Maybe Poole and Porter but they got ground up on defense. GP II was way more impactful than either of them.

I did see the number one and number two defense grind out every possession. I'd argue that even with the clear best guy in the series/ NBA/ all-time GSW won because they forced enough turnovers to muck up the Celtics offense and get an extra 10 points a game in transition.

Brunson, Fournier, Barrett, Randle, Robinson seem like a steady group of defenders.

I have no faith. Bottom line was two years ago, we had this team that had a unique chemistry.. Leon and co changed the fabric of the team for the worse and I don’t believe there’s a plan

Seems fans have more faith after results which is quantifiable.
Since we are not privy to what the plan is I have more hope than faith.
Fact is Rose is not stupid, nor is Perry, Aller, Houstan, and the other braintrust.
Does it always execute? Of course not. Do we follow other teams and understand their mistakes? Of course not.
Are we smarter then them? LOL

I am ok with not picking anyone at 11. We have a lot of very good quality youth at every position. It is very crowded as it is for the youth development. Didn't we get multiple future picks in better drafts as a result? Maybe we could use those newly obtained picks as additional ammo in a trade for a star player? That was likely the logic, rather than picking another player at a position where we have better talent already in development. There were like no good PGs supposedly left on board this year when we were picking
