Most people would have been fired long ago for this, I don't think being rich and powerful should mean you get to be held to a different basic standard at work. Feel bad for Suns players who'll now have to deal with the aftermath of this while Sarver gets to hide. I guess an extra part of the punishment is now Sarver is likely vulnerable to law suites by female employees. Still its chump change for him and he'll more than make back the money when he sells the team.

The bball media were so fixated on Dolan they've completely failed to properly hold other owners like Sarver and Cuban to account- the way Cuban is given a pass every time is ridiculous

Cuban, like Dolan might have stood by and not responded as he should. The details are murky.
We judge harsh on things we don’t. Sarver is not as wealthy as others and owns about 35% of the team. He is the teams largest shareholder. His partners could find cause to oust him.
Thus if the civil lawsuits start to pile up its a problem becuase the team pays. Not sure about his personal liabilty here.
Sterling I believe owned the team with his wife.
How Sarver was with his players and staff matters. Chris Paul has played for both. It was clear the Clipper players were not down with Sterling. This seems different. Can’t say they are all too thrilled but its different. How? Im not sure.
It was reported on five occasions he dropped the N-word but in reference to someone else using it. Danny Ferry was fired for reading a report from someone else scouting report using a derogatory term. It makes others uncomfortable.

True, Sarver if he was GM and was outed for what he did he would be fired. Can’t fire an owner. But suspension for a year and Ten mil is no joke to him. For Dolan it would be.
Stienbrenner did all kinds of ****ed up stuff and got a 2 year suspension but never forced to sell.

LIke I said, he now has to deal with Civil suits and his partners. Perhaps they buy him out.

He showed a lot of energy and aggression on the SL team. Looked way better than whatshisname from Duke. He seemed like shorter wing, around 6'6". Wouldn't mind if they brought in some combo forwards.

He’s right this is when the Knicks sign and release guys to pay them better for their G league team. Odds are they will do this for a few guys.
