Hey guys,

As some of you know, I've been a Knicks fan for quite some years and tried to follow them as much as possible with Internet broadcasts, articles, games on TV once in a while in France... but this season, the Knicks changed their radio and ESPN 1050 is available ONLINE, which means you can listen to the games LIVE without paying anything.

This is HUGE for me as I can now listen to the games at night and this is so cool !!! I just wanted to share that news for other foreigners who may not have noticed it earlier. The link is http://www.1050espnradio.com/, then just click on 'listen live'.

sleepless... sleepless... I was still able to sleep two and a half hour after the completion of the game and before going to university ;) It's gonna be much more exciting for us (foreign Knicks fans) to follow the game with both the radio and the Internet gamecast. Hopefully the NBA will follow the MLB path and broadcast games live on Internet.

Thanks for the thread. It's useful, also, to many Knick fans around the country who can't get the broadcasts on radio or tv.

Hey, who do you think you're talking to? Of course I get NBA TV with live games everyday... but now guess how many Knicks games are on schedule... NONE

They only broadcast good teams, so until our guys can do something together, I won't get a chance to watch them. However, I have 3 Spurs game per week

The thread says good news for foreign knick FANS not foriegn player signs with Knicks!! Why are so many people getting confused?

This is huge though. I have to leave the country for 3 weeks and 1050 couldn't have started this at a better time. I was 5 minutes away from signing up for the god awful nba.com league pass before I heard about this last night. Firefly gave me another link which might broadcast some Knick games but its not guaranteed.

The NBA guys are so retarded man! The MLB has this MLBTV thing where you can watch baseball games online for a price but I have no clue why the fuking NBA doesnt do it! They will make so much money because the Internet is more widespread than cable TV!

I dont care if I have to pay for it but I WANNA WATCH KNICK GAMES EVERWHERE I GO!! Not every place in the world has the luxury of having a sattelite feed If anyone from the NBA is reading this, please please please implement an online streaming video plan for NBA games.

The dutch version of canal+ only airs 2 games per week, 3 after allstar break. So I like your chances better then mine to actually see a knicks game.

ESPN classic, on hotbird I believe, is also available in france. Although I can receive it I'm not "allowed" to subscribe to it. I read in the local sat mag that ESPN will expand with another channel, could be very interesting. Amount of NBA games a question of course.

There's also Pontel, deep pockets required, which sells game dvd's to everywhere but the states. Did this 2yrs ago, but frankly games aren't as exciting when you already know the scores. (you get week old games, they're recorded, send to europe (swiss), copied and send to subscribers and hence a week has passed, not really an option for internet junkies.

One dvd has 1 full game and 1 game joined in progress, with original commentary and even the original commercials.

Thanks for the news. I'm not foreign, but where I live in NJ, 1050 doesn't come through clearly so this is going to be a major help.

Has anyone actually listened to a game using the internet stream? In my experience searching for online streaming radio for games, the streams are usually blocked out during games because there is some agreement to do so, usually because the audio stream is offered a premium elsewhere.

That's why I signed up for audio league pass this year.

But, if it does work during the games.. great!

Thats what I thought but I heard Wally from Wally and the Keeg on 1050 yesterday who said Knick games will be streamed online as well. I am pretty sure the stream will not be blocked off because 1050 is broadcasting Knick games only.

Forgot to metion: I havent heard any Knick games on the site because the 1050 deal was finalized yesterday.

This is great. I live in NJ and the reception was horrible so I can listen to some games that aren't on TV. Gotta wait a few days to try it out
