Pick 9 will be good and is there a trade we can make for Miami’s back up center?

I think u do the math.
We’re gonna get a very good athletic wing scorer
One of Keegan Murray Benedict mathurin or johnny davis. No project pg. This years draft has MORE chris Duarte’s and at 9 we will get 1.

Finding another lengthy two way athletic wing scorer will help us greatly.

I’m personally all in on Aldones Williams with pick 39 with center prospects as back up choices

In the nba I’d love if we could trade for Miami’s back up center if mitch leaves and do our homework on brogdon. Jalen Brunson wouod be choice 1 but he is not realistic. We should’ve kept cap room

how did Miami sign Lowry? They didn't have cap room. Only EF's contract goes out further than next year. If Brunson wants to leave Dallas and come to the Knicks, then matching salary & their draft pick & perhaps other assets is as much as they are going to get.

We can create cap space for Brunson. Noah’s salary drops off, the cap should go up slightly, and we have tradeable contracts. I would rather we resign Mitch if we can get him for around $15 mil a year. Not sure I like him at more than that. I agree we should get a good player at our pick and I hope the Knicks shutdown Rose. If Rose plays, we are going to make a run at the playoffs and totally screwup our draft position. Sit Rose!

We need an elite PG prospect.

Not another overcrowded wing.

If Mitch chooses not to resign with us, or we get priced out - what about Richaun Holmes as an alterative option? He seems to fit Thibs style of play for centers.

Cap room is not an issue. You can move Burks and Walker in the summer. Attach second round picks and you have 20 mil in space.

Pg are tough to draft. They take time like centers. A good athletic young big with size is always valuable. Take a look at some video of the three players I mentioned. We can easily slot one of those guys in the top 9.

I’m in the camp of either somehow finding cap room for jalen Brunson. Or doing the homework on brigson to see if he’s viable in terms of health. I think martin might be right that it won’t cost as much as I might’ve thought asset wise

I can totally see the Knicks trading it, even if we win the lotto.

I think we need more length on the wing, but a PG and a Center that can hit a jump shot are way bigger needs.

What if there are none worth it where we pick? We shouldn't reach. I like TyTy Washington but he's pretty average.

Take the BPA but pass on PFs for obvious reasons unless you think Keegan Murray is the next Tim Duncan .

As of right now, I think I'm taking this kid ...

Is it crazy to say Rokas would be the top PG in this draft?

No Keegan Murray a 3. Look at his handle 3 point shot diversity versus our obi Toppin. Also good defense . Mathurin might be gone at 9 but he’s more of a 2 guard like Davies. But we should get 1. Chandler from tennesse is good but too small for me. All the other pg are projects up top. No thanks

I was hoping we buy low and sign Cauley-Stein off the street as insurance for when Mitch leaves this summer but 76ers got him

We need to sign and trade for Brunson and draft Kennedy Chandler. A little depth never hurt and like you said young pgs need time
