You mean other coaches? Burks and IQ are fine, if used properly.

IQ has been one of the worst guards in the league for 28 games. It’s time to take him out of the rotation.

Put McBride in as the starter. Switch things up. Why is it so ****ing hard for this guy to move rotations around.

That change to McBride should've been done earlier, back when there was a chance to light a fire. Now since we are late in the game, Thibs and others who put us in this hole, will have to dig us out. It's ashame we cant see how McBride looks with the starters any time soon. Gotta wait until the off season? Looks like Mcbride is not the PG of the future in Thibs or the FO eyes. Because he would've played point by now, since it's such a big hole we havn't filled in years.

If that's the case, we should've traded McBride and maybe IQ for a PG thibs would play. Or get a coach in here that understands how to win game with unconventional lineups and players.

IQ is a tweener. But his go to skill right now is scoring and putting pressure on the defense. He should focus on that and not your traditional PG role of making sure Randle gets the ball. I notice when Burks was in the lineup in crunch time, all he did was look for Randle. vs open the floor and create for others or yourself. We all should know by now, Randle is not built to be our 4th quarter closer. Not yet and maybe he never will....I don't know. Right now we need a closer. It used to be Burks, but at PG he's not as aggressive with his scoring vs when he came off the bench at SG or SF, he was more affective.

Why is McBride in Westchester? Don’t know.

Agree that Burks has been affected by being forced to play more PG. However, his production/shooting percentage has not really had that much of a drop. Grant it, 38% from 41% and 38% from 42% is lower but not as bad as some are making it out to be. IMO, it has been more about the perception that he is part of others struggles. Think a bigger issue has been the loss of Rose's production and IQ's deep decline in shooting. Think Burks has been grouped together unfairly. Sure he has had issues down the stretch facilitating the offensive flow but he has done well helping a with the issues at PG. Would also add that do not think it would have mattered who was at PG down the stretch. Considering the practice is to go to Randle ISO no matter who is the PG.

At this point, I am on board with giving Deuce more minutes. However, think Kemba would have to be bought out in order for that to take place. Which does not seem likely since the FO would rather use him this summer as an added piece in a transaction. And of course Thibs does not believe in using young players at the end of the season even if eliminated.

A 3 percentage decline is significant especially when considering how many close games we are losing this year. I also think Burks defense has suffered as well as he’s now forced to cover smaller, quicker point guards the entirety of the game.

Quickley’s shooting has nose dived this year. He was 39% overall and 39% from 3 last year as a rookie. This year he’s at 36% and 32% respectively.

You can see with both players their confidence is shot and for what purpose? They are not playing pg even semi-effectively our offense is Burks dribbling on the perimeter for 10 seconds before he figures he can’t penetrate the zone so he passes to Randle. Do we really need Burks to do this?
