we can give them moochie norris and Nazr. Nazr is much younger and will help them. we get Davis who can play 20 minutes at C and is an ending contract we can utilize going into the trading deadline.

It's a good idea, but I'd be concerned that we'd be downgrading at C and we wouldn't know what we'd be able to get by trading Davis. Also, unless we can pull off a deal within 2 days of the trade, we'd be stuck with Davis and no center for two months.

Instead, I'd only try to do a 3 way deal where we send Moochie and Nazy to GS, GS sends Davis's expiring contract to a 3rd team, and we take back a bad contract plus a decent center or PF/C.

you must've forgot, zeke getting nazr was his selling point for justifying his signature trade. to share the duties, while miami is picking up shandon what will they give for wang....

this is exactly what is wrong with the knicks--nazr M one game 0-5 the next game is good the next game is bad etc.... just asking for these guys to play consisntent--by the way it's quite obvious that we dont have anything on the interior D against teams with elite type players.

just like last night when wilocx and brand got theirs we need to get ours ++++ shut everyone else out.

just how does that help the Warriors? both Nazr & Moochie have another year remaining on their deals, while Davis has an expiring contract.

Anyone who calls that his signature trade doesn't know anything. The Marbury deal was his signature Knick trade. Anyone who actually believes what a GM tells the media (i.e., "Nazr was the key to the deal") doesn't know anything either.

Agreed. To call the KVH trade Isiah's signature trade is laughable.

hahaha......regardless, starbury was coming to ny anyway, scotty was just dismissed before having the chance. but if you wanna convince yourself in thinking all signature trades are limited to one trade or a big trade....knock yourself out genius. imo, the tt/kvh/nazr trade reveals more of a distictive mark for the trade compared to the starbury trade.

I still don't think Layden would have gotten it done, but excluding the Marbury trade, the Crawford is still above the KVH/TT trade.

Yup; the TT trade was probably Isiah's third biggest trade because we got a more important player (both for now and the long-term) in the Crawford trade than the TT trade. I have no idea what kind of "distinctive mark" Bobby is talking about; maybe someone else can explain this.

Dale Davis would be a quick fix Layden move! He's 35! and it's not like he is a 20 & 10 player on the decline

i just don't see any trade that fits for both teams in the Dale Davis situation...Antonio Davis is a much more realistic option because of his big contract.

No, people want him for his expiring contract--not for anything that he could do on the court
