Other boards have been saying that ESPN Insider has Chad Ford reporting that he passed a physical and will sign officially tomorrow or Monday. yay, the heat got a bit worse!

It could be alittle bit worse then you might think. Shandon still knows all our plays inside and out. It could come back to bite us later.

He isn't our problem any more, couldn't care less on what he does. Although, this may be helpful if we ever run into Miami in the postseason.

If he's on a team where he can get consistent minutes, I think he can be a decent role player. I think he was mentally out of it ever since Isiah got here and he didn't have his mind in the game in the playoffs. Throughout most of his career he's been a decent role player (making an all-star's salary)

You're right. His contract does taint everything he does. But I can't tell you how relieved I am since he is gone, even if he were making less here.
It's gonna be weird seeing a Shandon making under 2 mil.

He'll still be making $7 or 8 mil a year; it'll just be from both the Knicks and Heat.

Yeah he is a decent player but he's really inconsistent on offense and plus he's getting on the wrong side of 30 now, so his primary abilities of some athleticism and defensive quickness are being taken away anyways...

the days of him getting consistant minutes are over. The only way he gets consistent minutes is if he plays consistent basketball in the few minutes he does play. The Knicks game him so many opportunities and all he did was hit the side of the backboard and kick balls around and throw passes to the crowd
