We're done for.
Stick a fork in us.

▪︎ 24-30 and 6 games below. 500.

▪︎ 6.0 games back of the 6th seed.

☆ 5.5 games back of the 8th seed Play-In.

Thankfully we've only got 28 games remaining before looking forward to another draft. We'll 100% finish with an NBA bottom 5 record too. Because our schedule is just too brutal moving forward.

I don't watch too much NCAA basketball anymore. So; who's considered as the best and most pure NCAA Point Guard right now?

Another season of rooting for random ping pong balls it is.

It could be worse. The Knicks could have their entire future wrapped up in Zach Wilson and Robert Saleh

Might be TyTy Washington from Kentucky. I’m guessing a future CAA guy that will be linked to the Knicks if they don’t add a PG at the deadline.

As lousy as the Knicks are they are nowhere near the atrocious dumpster fire your other team is. If we draft Kennedy Chandler and/or sign Brunson or even Rubio there’s hope for next season

The Knicks are 24-30. JD is 6-28

Its a better SG/big draft but there are usually 1 or 2 decent PGs a draft

The algorithm gives and the algorithm takes away

If the Knicks were smart they would sit out Rose until March and play Reddish, Grimes, and McBride more and just rank the rest of the season. See if we can get a top-10 pick and might actually be able to draft a PG who can make a difference.

Your proclamations are what backs you into corners of despair. Team might finish the season with a few good wins then it further angers you. Another season of ping pong balls? You forgot last season already?
Perhaps you’ll learn to pull back projecting and just enjoy whats infront of you. Last seaosn was not guarantee of future success and many pundits told you ahead of time. Its ok to “believe” but don’t act incredulous that it did not turn out that way because you choose to ignore it.
And last season also told us unxpected good things can happen.

correction, we're 1.5 games of the play in 10 seed.

Thibs is built to win. I don't know how you ask him to lose. After the Flores lawsuit where apparently the owner of the dolphins offered him $100k to lose games, as fans, we have to realize the team has to try to win- at least the players and coach. Anything less would be suspect and distasteful.

I agree, but how exactly do you get Thibs on board? He and the players want to win.

I think the FO should definitely explore taking some of the veterans out of the mix and be sellers at the deadline.

I love Fournier and Burks and don't want to trade them, but if the only way to get Thibs to alter his line up is to remove those players, find a good deal.

Although you could argue those guys are helping us lose games.

Season's been over. The season really ended the day Rose got hurt. But we're actually 1.5 games behind the play-in tournament. Teams 8th-10th make it.

Personally, I think making the play-in is an embarrassment. There is no joy or accomplishment in it. I would rather have the 10th pick tbh.

Sadly I think this regime will do everything in their power to make that 10th seed.

You remind me of the type of person who enjoys criticizing other fans more than you do talking about the game of basketball.

But I'm sorry. I forgot. You're the bestest fan in the while wide world who's always right never wrong doesn't miss the days of making the playoffs every year throughout the 1990s never gets frustrated with losing years. You're the bestest fan in the whole wide world.

Words like...

▪︎"proclamations".

▪︎ "Perhaps you;ll learn to pull back projecting and just ENJOY whats infront of you".

Who do you think you are? Who are you to tell others how to feel as a fan and to ENJOY this losing season?

Get over yourself already.

When did I ask him to lose? Never said such a thing.

I just know with Kemba Walker @ PG and Evan Fournier @ SG = worst Defensive Backcourt within NBA history.

Unfortunately no head coach can win under these circumstances. But I never asked coach Thibs to tank.

Ok thank you for that correction. Will give me a reason to continue rooting for wins.

But if we ever fall 4-5 games back of the 10th seed? Unfortunately the only thing to look forward to would be stupid random ping pong balls.

Last year we were 38-30 by the time we lost our 30th game.

This year we're 24-30 by the time we've lost our 30th game.

I guess good luck on winning our next 14 consecutive games in a row in order to get back to last years record of 38-30.

I said it months ago. Evan Fournier single handedly ruined and destroyed our Defensive Identity under coach Thibs of last year (and Kemba Walker made the situation even worse).

Might be some truth. I am the "bestestest"
Your fourth point is fair. Should not tell others how to feel. I think I just called out 1248 saying that. You should hook up with him and pile on my stuff.
I troll him you know. Actually I troll accuracy.

Your manic sad bipolar act is not talking hoop either. The manchild action figure approach about "Who is your favorite knick" or "We 100% will.........", or "We win this game, that game, and we just XX frm the 4th seed" all
was like some bad desperate attempt to stay at the cool kids lunch table.
I sit smugly there. Im not the bully. Not the quarterback dating the hot dumb cheer leader. Im Ferris Bueller. Not everyone like Ferris. Thats OK. Im not here for support. Entertain me. Let me entertain you. Lets have fun.
But, I offer encouragement, clarity and don't get wrangled in by emotional cries for validation. It all gets sorted out on the court.
And if you can't get excited about RJ Barrett these days and the "oh woes is me" thing is more dominant they yeah, you should do the "Im done" thing and take a break. We all have. Thought you did that?
But if you like we can talk about you still.

Manic Sad and Bipolar act?

Sorry but basketball is just a game to me. And a game that I've loved since childhood.

But at the end of the day I have my daughter and wife to love and when the Knicks lose? I don't call off for work the next day or not love my family because of it 🤭

Yes. As a childhood Knicks fan I get frustrated after losing season after losing season but you using words like "Manic", "Sad" and "Bi Polar" when we're only talking basketball frustrations is disgusting and proof that you should get over yourself already.
